This company keeps sending me emails requesting me to pay an account in collections. They are claiming I owe $1930, when my credit report and original collection statement is for $1150. These people are trying to scam people out of more money than what they owe.

It turns out that my account was with 2 separate collections companies. I have been paying for 2 years before I figured it out. Once I did, I called the original creditor and they said they never placed with TrueAccord and that TrueAccord would need to refund me the $932.82. TrueAccord said they owe me nothing because I agreed to the payments. They are SCAMMER and THIEFS

This is a debt collection agency that has been harassing me through email for a debt they or someone else made up out of thin air. They need to be investigated for criminally extorting people who might fall for their or their clients lies. I pay my bills on time and have a high credit score. Y'all after the wrong one.

Are trying to collect a non-existent debt from me based solely on my email.

Scammers. Info provided not even close so check carefully. Companies like this need to be shut down and the people involved held accountable.

DO NOT OPEN THEIR EMAILS, DO NOT CLICK THEIR LINKS, unsubscribe and REPORT if HARASSMENT continues.

Harassing me with emails for some woman named Tawana who owes over 4k in debts.. I do not know this person nor have they EVER been associated with my Email address.. Sounds like a scam to me.

I will be forwarding all future emails from them to the police and scam investigations..

I received an email claiming I owed money to an account - with the wrong number listed… came to Trust Pilot and sure enough - scammers!
Thank goodness my son immediately knew it was fake.

Trueaccord , if there really is such an outfit, dreamed up a supposed 13 year old debt that we never could have possibly incurred, and then sent a scary email demanding money. What a total California scam.... wish I could give far less than one star. they should be shut down and fast.

I have received the same email for months now, and from the same person claiming I owe a small debt to AT&T-U-Verse. I didn't recall owing them anything, but after 17 months I couldn't be sure. I know I returned all of their equipment. I finally took some time to reach out to AT&T thinking if I truly owe them something I'll just pay them directly rather than trust an unknown, and they couldn't find any debt. I have blocked True Accord, well at least the person who keeps reaching out and added a note to my credit files. I hate we have to be so hypervigilant, but our info is sold and handed out so easily, we can't be too careful.

They are trying to collect a capital one credit card debt from me and I have never had a card from this bank

TrueAccord reached out to me claiming I owe a debt to them that I do not. I had not heard of TrueAccord, nor did I recognize the address they claimed to be mine. Upon inquiring about this debt, I was met with hostility and refusal to provide additional information, as they claimed that I did not pass authentication when I provided the information they requested of me. They refused to give me any more information about this supposed debt on the phone, nor through email, and then refused to respond when I requested to speak to a supervisor. A week later, after sending several emails requesting follow-up, I’ve finally received a response that says they’re requesting debt verification, but they still did not provide me with a timeframe. Their poor support staff and policies do not reflect a company that should be trusted; especially with such sensitive matters as funds and debt.

Trying to collect a fraudulent debt in a minors name!! Disgraceful company!!

This company I thought at the beginning was so easy to work with. I was planning on using their assistance with my delinquent bills due to my loss of work. Thank GOD I did not!!!! I worked with them to pay off 1 debt. Easy peasy until it wasn't. I paid off everything in 3 installments. That was back in March when I completed this. About 2 months ago they kept reaching out to me about paying off a debt but it was the exact same one that I had previously pain in full!!! After my emailing them repeatedly asking how could this be? They ignored me! First they hounded me with emails about times a week and just like that they completely ignored me when I showed them proof that the debt was paid through their own company and asked what the Hell did they do with my payments! I reached out to the company that I had the delinquent account with today July 30th and they had no idea that I had paid. So now they are trying to see what the Hell happened. Unbelievable!!!!! Never use trueaccord. They robbed me!!
