TrueCar is a joke! Plain and simple. They give you a price that they have supposedly already contracted with the dealership, meaning NO junk or bogus fees. However, this is not the case; the dealershi... See more

Don’t believe the TrueCar Cash Offer service. They let “certified” dealers on their platform who offer prices within KBB traded in ranges so they look legit. Then when you accept their offer they dro... See more

For car buyers truecar.com looks good at first use, BUT BEWARE, because if you want to contact the actual seller (they are a conduit for dealers) you have to click on “get actual price” and then go th... See more

I purchased a car off truecar that was…

I purchased a car off truecar that was 3 hours away, yes I knew this. Was told I could have it transported to my house for $303. The dealership that had the car said they paid the transport fee. Which they did but after almost 2 weeks after we signed and returned the paperwork to the dealership with our down payment Truecar still hadn't set up our delivery and couldn't give me even an approximate date for delivery. Said my car was their first transport but this should've been figured out long before they offered delivery. So I ended up driving the 3 hours to get my car. I don't blame any of this on the dealership at all they were completely amazing. Truecar needs to get their s*** together.

Vin #’s don’t match listing’s…

I reviewed TrueCar’s listings for a specific car I am looking for. I ran their Vin #’s for 2 cars and neither matched up to their listing! Both were same type of vehicle, same color but they were NOT the same vehicle at all! So they are listing fake Vin #’s that is BS and a scam and this web company needs to be shut down! There is NOTHING “true” about it!

Fantastic way to search for vehicles…

Fantastic way to search for vehicles from multiple dealerships while using filters to find vehicles that have exactly what you are looking for while having the ability to choose how large an area you'd like to search.
