We've had two mortgages in 25 years. This is the first time we used a mortgage broker. I contacted Chris Eigbe, some 8-9 months ago regarding my mortgage. He was very informative about the rates and mortgage situations at that time. He honestly suggested not to apply for anything until I had my firm closing date because of validity period of locked rates.
I got in touch with him sometimes in March 2021 and started the process. Chris gave me good information about how the process would go and what documents he would need from me followed by a detailed email. Chris was always available for any kind of questions or concern and very patient while I was talking. Very professional, at the same time friendly feeling.
I had great experience with Chris and would love to work with him if I need his help in future. Also, I would certainly recommend if anybody ask me my opinion as to where to go for mortgage.

Chris did an excellent job at guiding me through the process of getting pre-approved (and eventually approved) for a mortgage. He answered all of my questions honestly and in a well informed manner, and went out of his way to get the approval done quickly since my builder gave me very little advance notification before the closing date. It was a pleasure working with him and I highly recommend True North Mortgage.

I had never heard of TNM until I was searching for a brokerage to do some refinancing.
