This review is long overdue since this is my second mortgage with the awesome Peter Esper. During my first mortgage, he made the process super easy and informative. It couldn't have been more stress free. Two years later, in search of a new place to call home, I knew just who to call. Today we get to the keys to our forever home and my partner and I couldn’t be more happy and it's all thanks to Peter!

Peter was incredibly responsive from start to finish, and we would simply not have been able to accomplish our goals without his expertise and his conscientiousness in staying on top of all the moving parts. From problem-solving and clearly explaining our options to communicating with other professionals involved in our purchase, Peter was like a guardian angel who helped us set ourselves up in the best financial situation possible in buying a property we are sure we will value for many years to come. Moreover, Peter's trustworthiness and professionalism stood out in a sector beset with conflicting interests. We give him our highest recommendation.

We had limited time left on our condition of finance and Peter was able to execute the application and the approval in time for us. This was a huge relief especially because we were initially going with another lender and they said, 'it was not enough time'. We called Peter at the 99th hour with what was described by other lenders as a 'difficult' application and he was able to get everything done for us without any hiccups.

He was also able to help us with bridge financing, refinancing a property and purchasing a new property all in one application.

We have already told all our friends about Peter and provided his contact info. I would 100% recommend to anyone.

I had a great experience working with TRUE NORTH MORTGAGE on renewing my mortgage last May. Peter Esper has help us getting one of the lowest interest rate in the market. It's not just about the interest rate, his responsiveness and willingness to support his client was beyond our expectation. He responsed to our questions very well, explained various terms and process in details and even helped suggesting the mortgage type that would work best and benefit us most in a longer run. Though our previous mortgage provider tried to offer rate matching, we still decided to go with TRUE NORTH MORTGAGE as we value the time and effort that they invested in their client. Personally, I don't appreciate the "rate matching" strategy being carried out by a number of institutions these days. If they can offer the best rate just like other, why don't they do it since the beginning?

Although we didn’t end up going with True North and ended up with our bank because of various promises...we regret the decision as Peter Esper was exemplary with his responsiveness, providing concise and clear communication and was consistently diligent in providing us great customer service. Once our term is up with the big bad bank, we will be for sure reaching out to Peter and True North!

Peter was absolutely amazing to work with! I had so many questions regarding the mortgage process and he answered everything so quickly. Signed up my second mortgage through TNM. Peter Esper was my broker. I have referred him to everyone I know. In both cases he gave me the best rate without even negotiating. Everything he said was accurate and he has always kept his word. If you need a new mortgage our want to change mortgage companies to take advantage of better current rates, I suggest you contact Peter. It could save you thousands of dollars and its very easy to switch (he takes care of everything.
