I just tested truepeoplesearch.com by typing in my own name. The primary name that came back is spelled wrong. The age and month of birth are correct. But more importantly my current address and current phone numbers are completely off, as are my roommates and friends. All of the listed people I have never heard in my life before.

1 star is much too generous

6 skulls would be more accurate - terrible site - careless towards privacy and safety concerns of people's sensitive information listed with no consent nor option to effectively opt out a class action should be in order

I just accessed the site and before I even clicked on anything it told me I was blocked!!!
I had had no interaction with the dratted site at all, now every attempt to visit them results in "BLOCKED!"

The entire process is a ridiculous ordeal that is singularly focused on the website process tricking people into giving the website information and enabling the website to send the user notifications. There are many other options which are much more oriented towards providing the actual service of facilitating users to get public record information about people without all the useless hurdles this self-oriented money and data collection business requires.

But there are two - a dot com and a dot net. I don’t know which one is the truly free one.

Absolutely horrible. Treat there staff horribly and just aren’t nice people.

So much inaccurate information... email addresses I never had, phone numbers I never had. People I might be related to that I don't know...yet my siblings never showed up.

They did have some accurate info but inaccurate info can cause real problems. DO NOT trust this site. Make no decisions based on info. Do your own research.
If the info is public you can find it...why pay for it.

True people search is the worst in the whole entire world they are dishonest. when we on the other end know the real truth they lie so that you can get their service don’t fall for it liar liar. Report them! a(zero) They tried to throw you off so that you can pay for their service fall that fake customer service sucks so is there a fake website

Thieves! They are non-stopping charging my card!.
Once, I order $1.00 us to get a report, so I had to input my card data. That's it, period!.
Now, they intend to charge my card every days three times a day with different amounts of money.
I asked to stop that action and tell that I blocked my card because their intentions. They're not going to get anything, but still they insist on withdrawing my account.
Be aware of this Company: scam!

Like many others posting, googles data leak warning warned me my name and email address was on this website (twice).

Two fake profiles was made on the 8th of September, both containing my full name and an email address I use as a backup.

I applied the option for google to remove the listing from the search engine which is pending.

When trying to access the site in question to remove my data I found I was blocked by cloudflare on the entire site.

I decided to email there support to request they remove me from the database and got automated replies telling me to use the remove url which I already explained in the email I'm blocked out of.

3 days passed and I recieve an email asking for the profile links which hold my data so they can be removed, these I provided from my Google alert,

Two days pass and I just recieved an email saying they cannot remove someone else's profile and if I want my data removed I must provide my link.

I told them numerous times I cannot access the site, have never joined, have no interest in joining a US people search site when I'm in the UK.

How does someone make two fake profiles using my name and email address if there is no need to verify the email with a confirmation link.

Noone has anything to gain from harvesting my details except for this scam company in order to to pad its 'truepeoplesearch' database.

I would seriously avoid this site and all of its scammy domains .com/.net/.io the list goes on.

Rarely do I leave negative reviews but these realy deserve it.

Illegal and inaccurate beware. Some of my data is on here, I got a security warning from Google informing me of the data they had. Some was right most was wrong, I never gave consent to publicly sharing my data and can't contact them to remove it. According to Who's, this was provided or hosted by Godaddy, who I'll be contacting. Surely they are illegal. Don't believe the lies from people claiming it is accurate, they're obviously affiliates of the bogus people behind its existence. If I could leave 0 star review I would. Site won't even let me on after notifying google to stop showing my results online.

Scumbags with made up data and then blocked in anywhere but the US so you can’t have it removed. They should all be jailed

What a stupid company, clearly making stuff up as they linked my email (I am in Australia) with some guy unrelated and about 50 years older than me in Ohio in some country on the other side of the planet. Worst thing, their website block access from Australia, so there is NO way to get my email corrected and removed from incorrect, made-up data.

Just happened across my late Wife's "info" here, and there is SO MUCH Wrong in it that I can't help but be glad that I'm not one of the customers who are actually paying for this so-called "service."

This should be punishable by law for posting peoples full information without consent. With the amount of violence and fraud going on, posting someone’s full name and home address is truly out of line. If my information doesn’t get removed after my request on their website I will be seeking legal action. I never approved my information to be posted ever.

You say your site is a free site to look up an address then you charge what lies you tell

Advertised as free, but once search is complete, requires you to pay. The advertisement specifically states "look up anyone for free, 100% free, no signups"
Its a scam.

Their data is amazingly accurate and it's actually free.

Best site I've ever seen to get information on people. I couldn't recommend it more.

There are other websites that many are probably getting there information wrong about. This one is quite accurate based on free information found on public databases. I ran a check based on my information and found it very accurate and did a search for a friend whom I verified to be also very accurate. The other two website with the same name but one is dot net (.net) and dot IO (.IO) are the two misleading sites that charge fees and don't deliver anything different from the free sites or flat out take your funds.

Garbage!!! this site is maze it goes from page to question to page over and over and at the end they are looking for a subscription. FREE HA HA
