Fast easy process. Guard fit great the first try. Standard thickness was perfect for BBJ!

My experience with this product has been stellar. The kit was easy to use with the assistance of the videos. When the guard returned to me, it fit perfectly with great tension but not to the point of discomfort or headaches. I use this guard for BJJ and it has been far, far superior to my former guard (Sisu brand). A common issue with thick guards is that your teeth may be protected but the external surfaces of the guard can have prominent edges that cause bleeding when you’re getting cross-faced or someone is going for an RNC, but TruFit guards do not have this issue because they’re so thin. I tell people I know who train seriously that this is the best guard you can get for comfort, the ability to communicate, and protection.

If I could give 10 stars I would ! So impressed by the quality of these mouth guards. We struggled to find something that would work for our sons multiple sports until we found these guards. Their customer service is exceptional! They were so helpful in ensuring his impressions were good for a perfect fit. Thank you TruFIT customs!

I have a high school football player who never used to use his mouthguard! The standard issue mouthguards are bulky, uncomfortable and really difficult to talk and communicate with them in. TruFit guards are a game changer, pun intended. Super low profile and the fit is literally perfect. My son doesn’t take his out. It’s got his jersey number on it and the guards are made in his team colors … one for home games, one for away games, haha. I highly recommend TruFit custom mouthguards without reservation. 5 stars. It’s no wonder that most NFL teams use them!

Best mouth guard available. Fits perfectly and has lasted way longer than any mouth guard I have gotten off the shelf at a big box store. This is the only mouth guard I will ever buy again. My nephew loves the mouthguard as it is comfortable and fits perfectly, compared to the others he has used.

Apparently just wearing and biting down on the guard voids the warranty. Even though the warranty states chewing. I don’t know how they expect a player not to bite down at all while wearing the guard. Complete waste of money for three months of wear.

Very poor customer service. Never seen a company give less of a f*** about their customers. Taking forever to respond to email threads. Can barely verify if my impressions are good and I have to keep following up and double / tripling down on emails before finally getting a reply ( still haven’t got one yet from my last email asking for verification of impressions)

Honestly the customer service alone is a reason to stay away and choose a different brand / company

Very disappointing experience with TruFit.

They sent me the impression kit, which I completed carefully. I even took photos of the impressions and emailed them on 1/5/26 to confirm everything looked okay before sending them in. I never received a response.

Since I didn’t hear back, I mailed the impressions anyway. Three weeks later, they finally emailed me saying the impressions were “too shallow” and wanted to charge me an additional $15 to redo them.

At that point, due to the poor communication and delays, I decided to request a refund. I paid $96 total, but they kept $30 for the kit and refunded only $66—despite the fact that:
• They never replied to my original email
• They never warned me there was an issue before I mailed the impressions
• They never apologized or made any effort to make things right

Bad communication, slow responses, extra charges after the fact, and no customer service accountability. I would not recommend this company.

Ordered their night guard. It started falling apart in less than two months. There is a reason they only have a 30 day warranty.

I agree with some of the other reviews that it took a long time from the initial purchase online to finally receiving the final mouthguard.

I also had a similar experience where the final guard did not fit properly causing sore teeth in the morning, resulting in having to go through the process all over again.

I unfortunately was very disappointed with the quality of my night guard that was designed and marketed for grinding at night.

After 4 1/2 months, the guard started to crack and eventually developed holes, despite rinsing every single morning and doing a deep clean with denture tablets every week.

I reached out to customer service to confirm how long these night cards typically last and I was told that they should last about a year with proper care and maintenance.

I told the customer service rep that I did maintain and care for the night guard and that it only lasted 4 1/2 months. She said that if I was a heavy grinder, it wouldn’t last as long.

After that response, I checked the website and the product description that clearly says the night guard is made from high-quality grinding resistant BPA free material.

I responded to the customer service rep by sending her a screenshot of the product description and didn’t hear from them for about a week and a half. I finally got a response after following up, but she didn’t address my response with the screenshot.

If you’re not going to stand by your product based on the website product description, you should add a disclaimer, letting people know that those with excessive grinding would result in shorter lifespan of the night guard or just get out of the night guard, vertical altogether and stick with mouthpieces for sports.

Great idea, disappointing execution and poor result.

Ordered a night guard to prevent teeth grinding / TMJ, first impression didn’t work but took 3-weeks for them to contact me and send a new kit for $15. Second impression worked fine but return was via USPS which took almost 2 weeks to deliver.

After waiting some more mouth guard finally arrived, but the fit is terrible. The guard is too tight so it actually pushes on my teeth like braces would and I wake up with terrible pain in the mornings. What a waste of $100.

This is not great for kids! I'll start with the good, my son's impressions didn't work right the first time so they did eventually send us 2 new impressions free of charge to send back in and those did work. The painful part was that the process was incredibly slow, almost 2 months from ordering until we had an actual mouthguard. Then when we finally got the actual mouthguard back and my son was super excited, within 2 weeks of first wear, the mouthguard warped. I asked the company if they had a warranty cause no product should get ruined that fast and it's in his mouth getting chewed on so I would expect better quality, they said it doesn't look like the issues appeared before we shipped it so it's not covered. So we have had it for 2 weeks, it's already warped, it took us 2 months to get it and it was wasted money and a whole lot of effort with high hopes for nothing.

By far the best mouthguard I’ve ever worn—perfect fit, amazing quality, and the customer service was incredibly helpful from start to finish. I'll be back for more! Thank you Trufit!

My guard fit perfect! Best mouthpiece on the market hands down. I noticed that some previous customers had complaints about customer service but this was not my experience. They even expedited my guard in time for upcoming tournament. Thank you!

I've been looking at ordering true fit for about a year now and have finally decided that I will not be doing it merely based on the fact that their customer service through email is absolute garbage... they don't honor or accurately post the correct prices that they advertise...they take forever to get back to you and when you tell them that it still doesn't work the promo they don't do anything about and they just stop replying to you... this is a total scam company and I'll just continue buying the ones on Amazon for a fraction of the cost

I saw the reviews of others and still wanted to give it a try. Did the impressions perfectly, matched the diagrams shown. After a week told me they were still too shallow. Pay more money for another kit or get partial refund. I chose refund. No reason it couldn't work and let's be honest, it doesn't provide better protection than any other brands out there. Don't bother.

DON'T EVER BUY FROM THEM. They're a joke. if impressions not good charge you $15 for another set. If you cancel order they charge you $30 for the impressions that aren't good. What a scam!! stay away.

Kat comes with two impressions, my first attempt was not good, but second met all of the criteria. I was notified that I needed to pay an additional fee for additional molds. When I asked about refund options, they simply gave me a partial refund and dismissed my emails requesting for an alternative solution. Would not recommend company out of principle, go with a sisu for a much cheaper slim guard or impact for a larger custom guard, both are cheaper anyway.

You receive a box with materials to make two impressions. I was unable to create the 2nd impression because the material crumbled in my hand. I contacted customer service and they said no problem they'd send out another. They sent me another full impression kit. I watched the video several times before taking the impressions. I took three impressions in total but the box will only accommodate two when sending it back. Next email I get is that neither impression is usable. They want $25 for another impression kit because they already sent me two kits. It's not my fault the product in the first kit crumbled. They refuse to issue me a full refund.

I ordered the top sports mouthguard, and the process was fairly simple. The impressions were easy, but I'm glad they gave me two because I needed two tries. It took almost a month for them to create the mouth guard once they received my impressions, but it was worth the wait. I've been in sports all my life and this mouth guard is by far the best quality I've ever had. It feels great, I can easily speak, and it doesn't affect my breathing. I highly recommend the sports mouthguard if you don't mind waiting and understand that quality takes time.
