Purchased a keyboard that never delivered and they don't reply
On 2020-05-05, we purchased a Truly Ergonomic Cleave keyboard at the Truly Ergonomic webshop (order #10142).
At the time of the purchase, their webshop stated that they had yet to manufacture Cleave keyboards, and we were fine waiting for the product to arrive.
We requested an invoice after the purchase, which they duly provided. Unfortunately, they went silent afterward.
On 2020-12-24, Truly Ergonomic sent an email saying that they have already manufactured the first Cleave keyboards, and they’re also manufacturing additional Cleave keyboards to be delivered during Q1 2021, allowing them to fulfill all pre-orders.
We asked about our order status via email on 2022-09-13, 2022-09-23, 2023-04-03, and 2023-08-09, which were all ignored.
We’ve also sent inquiries via Facebook on 2023-02-25 and 2023-05-05, which were also ignored. Unlike email, their read status is visible on Facebook, so they read our messages.
As a last word, one might speculate that as a keyboard manufacturer, we want to make other manufacturers look bad, which is not the case, and Truly Ergonomic is not even our direct competitor.
We wanted to share this cautionary story so others don’t spend their hard-earned money on a keyboard that never delivers.
