I signed up for TryHackMe on July 26 due to issues I was facing with a buggy virtual machine for the Advent of Cyber 2 (2020) room and I paid for premium believing that is why it was acting up.
In short the VM wouldn’t allow cookie editing like the tutorials claimed. I spent over two hours trying different methods with no success. Eventually I had to set up OpenVPN and access it via my desktop to access via chrome due to issues with Firefox.

I contacted them over a week ago explaining why I upgraded and how t mad no difference to my experience and that as it was the same day that I paid I would appreciate a refund as I don't see any value in the paid subscription for me personally at the moment.

I have been ignored completely, I followed up on 30th July and still nothing. This is not what I expected from a paid service. I reached out to support the same day to request a refund.

I’ve now had to file a dispute with my bank because TryHackMe took my money and gave me nothing in return. No value, no help and no response.

I do not recommend paying for premium. If something breaks you’re left on your own.

I , my name is Mishal zehra from pakistan .l really love hoe tryhack me made this website to help people who are interested in learning and doing practical thing in cybersecurity .but inly thing which i don't like is like on my ohsint room it was so much hard to complete the task it took me literally 3 hours to complete this and i didn’t complete entire my own i watch youtube video and the app elexiftool was not downloaded in my system i try to download it but it doesn't work

This platform provides the best CTF experiences to help Penetration Testers and Ethical Hackers who are getting into Bug Bounty or for those who are interested in learning Hacking for the benefit of examinations such as the OSCP.

You’ll have your own Lab Environment to practice your skills here and learn overtime. You get access to a leaderboard which increases your rank Everytime you complete some tasks and even gain access to badges too, which can be used to showcase your work.

Overall, I do recommend you sign up and use TryHackMe for CTFs

I love how TryHackMe is helping me through my journey into Cybersecurity. The rooms and tasks are all very easy to follow and I have been slowly working my way through the Security Analyst pathway. Best of all, it's completely free! I will hopefully be able to afford the premium soon and be able to get some certifications down the line.

It’s a great website, especially for beginners with lots of free content! It is definitely worth trying and also buying a yearly plan because of the great help they will be in your cyber security journey!

This website has been helping me with all my pentest needs and everything else with programming too! Buying the full version.

I am overally happy with the way TryHackMe has taught me many things. One thing that I felt annoyed though was most of the rooms are PREMIUM. I am 9 years old and my parent's are busy so I don't manage to buy the pack, therefore, I find it tricky to find labs that suite me. I request to make easy labs free as I think paying for that is a waste. Thank you.
