I ordered two months ago and can’t find a phone or email for this company. I messaged on Facebook because that seems to be the only point of contact for questions but of course no response. I hope my credit card will refund me otherwise that would really suck. This is thr 4th Facebook ad that has ended out to be a scam. Buyers beware

I had a good experience using trynood.com. The website is clean, easy to use and the information is clearly presented. I didn't notice any confusing things. Overall, it seems to be a reliable and user-friendly platform.

Severe Burns, Ineffective at Low Settings, and Poor Handling of a Safety IssueI am sharing this review so others can…

I am sharing this review so others can make a fully informed decision.

After using the Nood Flasher Pro exactly as instructed — including following all safety guidelines — I suffered severe burns on my legs, resulting in multiple painful, boil-like blisters. The reaction occurred shortly after treatment and was far beyond what could reasonably be considered a normal side effect. The pain affected my daily activities, required ongoing care, and has left me concerned about permanent scarring.

This was not user error. I followed the instructions precisely.

What further reinforces my concerns is that a close friend also purchased the same device. After seeing what happened to me, she was understandably cautious and started at very low settings (levels 1–2). At those levels, the device was completely ineffective — no hair reduction at all. When she increased the setting slightly to level 3, she began to see visible marks and skin damage on her legs as well. Her injuries were not as severe only because she stopped immediately due to my warning.

Taken together, this suggests a troubling pattern:

Low settings appear ineffective

Moderate settings carry a real risk of skin injury

Equally troubling was Nood’s handling of the situation. When I reported burns, my case was initially treated as a standard return. There was little urgency, no proactive concern for safety, and no meaningful acknowledgement of the injury itself. While a refund was eventually processed after repeated escalation, there was no accountability, no clear explanation, and no substantive effort to address the harm caused — only scripted responses and an offer of aloe gel.

For a product marketed as safe and effective for at-home use, this response was deeply disappointing. If something goes wrong, customers should not expect strong advocacy or responsible handling of a product-related injury.

I strongly urge potential buyers to weigh the risks carefully and understand that serious burns can occur, and that effectiveness may require settings that increase the likelihood of injury.

Spent $200 to flash armpits only for two summers

Want to spend $200 every two years to flash your armpits only in summer? Then throw your money down the drain with Nood!

They got an F with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) because they don't reply to many other customers' complaints that are supported by evidence that BBB verifies.

Also, all electronics (not just Nood) are hazardous and illegal to put in trash. So you'd have to go out of your way to take them to certified responsible electronics recyclers (E-Stewards).

I filed a complaint with BBB and sent attachments showing:

- Their website says they replace products after they're designed to stop working after around 600,000 flashes.

- I emailed them a month ago and they never replied to me. They didn't even reply to BBB. So BBB had to close the case.

Other brands have unlimited flashes!

Sketchy and Unhelpful

I purchased The Flasher 2.0 and had to return it after following all instructions precisely, only to find that it did not work as expected. My return was processed, and I was notified that I would receive a refund shortly. However, after the refund window passed without payment, I reached out to customer support. I was informed that a glitch had occurred during processing and was asked to provide my PayPal username—a request that felt unusual and concerning.

Despite assurances that my refund would be issued within five business days, that timeframe has now passed. My follow-up inquiries have gone unanswered for an unreasonable amount of time. This experience has been frustrating and has raised serious concerns about the company's reliability in handling returns and refunds. Transparency and prompt resolution should be standard, but unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

if I could rate it a zero I would

if I could rate it a zero I would - you will never get a hold of a real person for customer service. My first order was delayed 8 weeks. When it finally "came", they lost my original shipment, or specifically, they didn't bother to tell me where the recieving facility was, because the shipping company sent me a picture of it at a recieving facility nearby and instead of working with me to find it, they just zeroed it out and said they would send me another. It took me about 8 emails to escalate the support to a manage though, and when they "corrected" the issue, they sent me another product which still hasn't arrived, likely taking another 8 weeks. But, they did say they would send me serum for my trouble.... which then signed me up for a subscription that I didn't consent to!!! So now they've charged me twice, and I have no products. And all this time, I have never been able to get a hold of someone for help, so I had to dispute it with my credit card company.

Customer service is awesome

Mine broke for some reason and all reviews I’ve seen have been positive so I contacted customer service. It was a gift so I had no information really but I sent a video of the fact that it had almost full life left and wouldn’t work they didn’t hesitate to respond and I got an email saying a new one was on the way!!! When customer service is that quick and good I will purchase from them any time!

Scam Company

The company seems really sketchy. It seems they just use the same product sold for less than half on TEMU and put their labeling on it. I tried to return mine within the time frame and the company completely ghosted me. I can’t reach anyone.

No. Nope. Nada. Zip. Zero Hair Removal.

Had this long enough (over 9 months) and tried everything from "tips" on the site to give an honest review. No hair removal whatsoever. Did literally everything they said, shaved, tried 2xs a week, sometimes even 3xs. Gave it to my girlfriend who has lighter brown hair... Did nothing for her. This product was a $199 waste of money for what it "allegedly" says it's for... hair removal. Never saw even a slight difference. Not even lighter hair growth. Investigate what J/cm2 means... It will be a game changer.

So the Nood Flash 2.0 is around approx 4-5 J/cm2 this product pretty much is using very old technology in a rebranded modern looking machine. So I did my research and I found out why it didn't work...

I don't even work for these other laser companies but I did my research, I would actually buy something with higher J/cm2. Like a Ulike Air 10, IPL laser. Ulike is at least 21 J/cm2 or even the Tria X is hovers around 20 J/cm2 using a focused diode laser, or even it's rival DermRays V6S Diode Laser Hair Removal, 1064nm, Specifically For Dark Skin but NOT this Nood Flash, is a jokey joke. The marketing hype and sub-par results should be illegal what they're doing.

Thank you for reading my honest review.

Don’t waste your money

I can’t believe I bought this device without checking the reviews here in TrustPilot. I purchased their Black Friday kit but didn’t receive all the items. It’s been almost 2 months and no update on the missing items. And the laser? Total waste of money. It doesn’t work and I have to stop using it because I develop some kind of rashes.

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES! SCAM! This company does not stand by their policies nor their products. First, the device is useless, a complete ripoff, and nothing like advertised. Furthermore, it not only does NOT work, but when I took it to my dermatologist to examine, he said it was a fake light and not even a real laser capable of doing what is advertised. Additionally, it is made in China and likely operated by a sophisticated overseas scam organization designed to take people’s money. Second, the company’s website says a person can cancel their order at any time, even before the item is shipped, and that the person may also return the item for a refund within a certain amount of time, no questions asked. These are both NOT TRUE, as this company ignored me on both accounts, despite my repeated written requests. This company is engaging in false advertising and deceptive business practices. When I tried to cancel the item, it was sent (and my card charged) anyway, despite their listed cancellation policy. After I received the laser and tried it, since I now had it, I realized it was a worthless piece of equipment and a complete scam, especially after my doctor confirmed this, but when I tried to return it a week after I got it, I received zero response from TryNood. The company has non-existent customer service, so my guess is that my doctor is correct and that this company is being run by a sophisticated overseas ring of deceptive individuals who are engaging in false advertising and deceptive business practices in order to scam people out of their money. Do not fall for this product or this company’s advertising!! I had to file a claim with Paypal to get my money back. I also will be filing a report with the BBB but wanted to also warn the general public about this company. Avoid at all costs and do not believe their false advertising nor what they state on the website since they do not honor any of it. The device is a scam, their policies are a scam, and this company is a complete and total scam! That is most obvious by their many unhappy customers. Companies who are not out to illegally take people’s money want happy customers. Scam companies do not.

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. I've never had such a negative experience with a product or their non-existent customer service. Also, their reviews are fake, or they at least don't post the negative ones. I tried the "eraser" product and it left my leg bloody (I tried a test spot first on the back of my leg, which was fine, then I continued on..) and scarred. I followed the directions to a T and it stung for 3 days and looked awful for weeks. I bought the laser-light device too, but I refuse to try it based on my other experience. I tried leaving a negative review because NOBODY should have to go through what my leg went through and it didn't post on the website, making me believe they weed out the bad reviews or their reviews are fake. I don't trust this company. I've emailed 3 times nicely to get my money back but they haven't responded... at all. I'm going to have to call my credit card company..
