My husband and I used the firm to draft our Wills. Una Angus made the experience so straightforward and easy to understand. We are so glad to have our Wills in place and it was a very quick process.

Our experience with Thomson Snell & Passmore was appalling. While we were the seller, the firm appears to prioritise intellectual vanity and performative intelligence over delivery, engaging in persistent intellectual one-upmanship and point-scoring rather than focusing on getting the deal done. We experienced ego-driven virtue signalling and apparent status-seeking behaviour on display, even to the point of arrogantly rejecting explicit client instruction. The result was a solicitor apparently focusing on being right rather than effective, at significant cost to momentum, trust, and outcome. Combined with extortionate fees, this approach directly delayed the deal and undermined the very value clients expect from professional advisers.

I enjoyed a decade of good (friendly and reliable) service from TSP until I was in desperate need of advice from the Family department. They did not meet the claims on their website of being able to deal with "emotionally challenging and complex" issues.

I felt they neglected to respond to my initial enquiry, failed to establish the facts of my enquiry and did not treat me with dignity or respect until I complained.

At that point they started listening, taking me seriously and treating me with faultless courtesy. Too late to avoid my distress and feeling of isolation.

I believe this breakdown of communication was at least partly due to the firm's hierarchical structure/protocols and insufficient focus on the client's background and needs.

To be fair to TSP, I am not the kind of "high net worth individual" they pride themselves on supporting. And I was in distress. We were a bad match.

Had a fantastic experience working with Thomson Snell & Passmore on behalf of a BTL refinance. Oliver Butler was excellent from start to finish with communication prioritised throughout the process. As a property finance broker, we'll definitely be recommending Oliver and TSP to existing and future clients of ours.

Thomson Snell & Passmore team have been professional throughout a medical claim that needed expertise. Hand over between colleagues was seamless, which is inevitable with claims that can roll on for years. My case required patience and a lot of data gathering, but TSP were thorough and well prepared. They were kind and sensitive and made themselves available as and when required.

TSP have serviced my family needs since 1986 - conveyancing, wills, employment etc etc - they’ve always been superb across each discipline.

I have used Thomson Snell & Passmore for over 20 years both for personal and business purposes. Each time they have acted professionally and given good advice, I cannot think of a reason to move away.

Sarah Crane was helpful from beginning to end in assisting us with a family finance matter. She answered all queries quickly and made everything clear. She was friendly and professional and I would strongly recommend her service.

Attention to detail and duty of care for client paramount

I was referred to TS-P Solicitors due to complications with my recently deceased fathers estate and really poor behaviour by another firm of solicitors at a time when we are grieving my father and grandfather. Lawrence at TS-P was really supportive and professional in resolving this issue, his communication and supportive advice was excellent. These are very difficult times when you've just lost someone you love, emotionally you are all over the place and this situation was handled with great kindness care and sensitivity, I would highly recommend them.

I am very impressed with this firm.They are obviously professionals who move your claim quickly,but take the trouble to get to know their client(zoom calls when a phone call would suffice).
