I visited the Luton POD and spoke with Tahir, who has always treated me with the utmost respect. He helped me make the most of my finances, secured excellent interest rates on my savings, and supported me in applying for a credit card that offers 26 months interest‑free. I tried to open an account with them at the end of April and its been a nightmare. They are so bad and I can't even complain to them or withdraw the money I put in and close the account. Next step the FCA.

So the bank told me that the card was lost. I called the fraud line as per web site number 08000968669. The auto said it was "none fraud" After a series of questions it asked for the security code on my card that I do not have so was passed to an "agent" but no answer - actually just a fob off as far as I can see. Same of the same. Just to be clear I went to the branch to apply they know me I have id and they refused to give me the money in my account. Its ok for them to use my ID to open the account and pay money in but not let me deal in my own money.

Just managed to get through and they could not find my account sent me back to branch. could not register a complaint without access the account would not give me email contact details for customer service of complaints sent me back to main menu after telling me he would transfer me to the department that deals with it but could not tell me what department that was.

Wanted to leave a review regards the outstanding service I received from staff at two different branches who went above and beyond after I’d made series of mistakes in relation to banking and loans.
Ruth & Eman from the Hammersmith branch quickly responded and understood my mistake and at no point looked to blame me or make me feel like I had put them out.
They helped correct my mistakes and updated me accordingly and frequently as agreed.
The other branch involved was High Wycombe where Bhavine and her staff were equally fantastic and efficient.
5 star ⭐ customer service and it’s only right in this day and age where all we do is complain that I leave a positive review and honest feedback, I only hope they get to read or hear about this from their management teams.

Dreadful customer experience
Dreadful customer experience. Spent 15minutes waiting to be put through to an advisor for an online internet query. A guy with a very heavy accent called Neville asked me no questions said "they'll send an email - click on the link". When I complained he didnt even ask what the issue was he said let me put you through to another department.
Like going back to early 2000s before regulators made banks take customer service more seriously.

Get your money out of tsb while you still can. I have had my funds frozen for a month for no reason. I have not done anything wrong. I have lived on my credit cards which are now maxed out & they refuse to pay them out so i can reuse them so i can afford to feed myself.
Google searched is tsb & rip off bank & this is what comes up.
TSB is not considered a "rip-off" bank, but it has faced significant criticism for past IT failures and customer service issues, resulting in a £10.9m fine for its handling of customers in financial distress.
Read all reviews on here & do not trust the 5 stares. They will take your money & wont even care if you starve. I also needed to go to a dentist in this month & sent tsb a photo of how masive my mouth was & explained how much pain i was in but they would not even release me any money to go to the dentist out of the £13,100 i have in the bank. I have commited no fraud nor has any fraud been done to me. In fact the payment they froze my account for was a tax refund direct from hmrc.
Get your money away from these people.
Card application
It was my first time using an online meeting for a bank application, and I found it very helpful. Jack Mastin was very accessible, answered all my questions clearly, and provided great support throughout the application process. Despite having some initial issues with my application, his guidance really helped me to resolve them and successfully submit it.
He also followed up afterwards and reassured me that I could reach out with any further questions. We were able to address everything within the hour scheduled for the meeting.
Overall, I had a very positive experience - it was smooth, supportive, and stress-free.

I was not expecting to be treated with so much disrespect and to be kept on hold for so long.
In month one, my card was suspended as I had not paid £5.
Hello TSB, I had no request or reminder to pay, and that's why it was overlooked.
I had a further insult when I was told to have a pen and paper to note down the complaint's address, as the agent wanted to close my call.
What a load of rubbish.
I have been using credit cards for 40+ years and that is the first time I have been made to feel like I was putting them to a lot of bother.

Called into our local branch today, we both wanted to open new ISAs. I knew it wouldn't happen today as it was lunchtime & only 2 staff on!! But told I would have to bring my tablet in for them to help me do it online, NO THANK-YOU. Avoid TSB Business
Avoid TSB Business - this bank has consistently blocked my business card whilst I am abroad (China, Philipines, Timor, Australia) despite having told them previously what I need to pay for. Over the last 3 years it has been blocked 5 times and it has been blocked 2 months running despite explaining my travel plans. My advice is find another bank. By depriving me of funds in a foreign country they are 'protecting me against fraud' even when the procedure to approve payment has been followed. With 6 figures in the account it was blocked for a payment of £49!

Your app hasn’t allowed me to transfer money to my son who is stranded in London, it’s been around 12 hours so far. Since 10pm uk I haven’t been able to access my bank. this has caused me stress, inconvenience and loss.. this outage/ has caused problems to me and my family. I can’t call you as your phone lines aren’t open. How can I trust this bank?! TSB you have failed me as a banking provider and I will be leaving as I can’t trust this company. I have screenshots since 12am uk time and for this amount of time it’s unacceptable to not be able to have access to my bank TSB. My son is in trouble because of this bank and I will be escalating this to the financial ombudsman if a manager doesn’t contact me. I can understand an outage for maybe one or two hours. But this amount of time has caused so much stress….. I need this resolved this has caused me so much emotional distress you wouldn’t understand I have to spend hours trying to help my son as he’s stuck in London. This is unacceptable. We popped into Cameron
Toll, Edinburgh on Saturday 28/3/26 to open a new ISA account and were seen straight away without an appt after previously being told we needed to book an appt. Thanks to Tony and Darren for setting this up for us.
