Ineffective service and no response after stated timeframe
My experience with the UK International Consumer Centre has been extremely disappointing.
After submitting a complaint and receiving case ID 58783, I provided all requested information and documentation on 10 November 2026. I was informed there would be a 5-month delay.
That period has passed with no update, no indication that the case has been reviewed, and no response to follow-up emails.
For a service intended to assist consumers with cross-border disputes, this level of delay and lack of communication makes it practically ineffective. Consumers are left without guidance or support while their cases remain unresolved.
Based on my experience, the service does not currently meet reasonable expectations for responsiveness or assistance.
