Item came too late - no responsability for extremely high customs fees

Products arrived in perfect conditions, thank you for that!
I had to (unexpectedly upon delivery) pay 71,94 € + 14,49 € = 86,43 € in custom fees out of an order value of 204,80 € (more than 40%!!!). TSPN Calcio did not take any responsibility for this propostrous amount and for the lack of previous information on the issue. 40% taxes for UK-EU shipping? No, thanks!
I tried to find a solution that would fit both parts, and met no intend whatsoever of reflection from their side. It's a pitty that you don't aim to learn from such experiences...
This review is no ransom, I was forced to give up on my claim for a refund. This poor review is just the reflection of my customer experience. And as a company you HAVE TO learn to deal with that. Keep your money, I got over it. But please tray to learn from that. I will also do my best in the future. Much love. Joaquin

Shipping method and help
It’s a online shopping based on UK I buy to send for Portugal, and pay almost 8€ for shipping fees, and when arrive at Portugal the customs ask me to pay more 11€ to get my package! I write an email for TSPN and they say “ isn’t our problem, you need to solve you and CTT”

Of course, for clarity for others, our words in our fourth email on the matter were 'As we are located in United Kingdom, and outside the European Union, we have no influence or jurisdiction regarding whether or not you are due to pay import duty/customs tax for your order.'
Not so much 'isn't our problem".
This information is clearly stated in our Shipping policy also, easily accessible on our website.
