We recently had a new floor laid in the kitchen. This is the third kitchen floor we've had installed by Tile and Carpet Town Carpet One, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for flooring. We went with a new vinyl tile flooring this time, at the suggestion of our salesman, Tom, who was very patient and not pushy at all, which I really appreciated, as I had a hard time choosing which flooring I wanted. It comes with a 25-year warranty, and a seven-year commercial warranty. The colors are perfect for my kitchen, and the quality of the material is superb. The installers (father and son team) did a perfect job. They were very polite, respectful and knowledgeable. Our kitchen is 24' long and an odd shape. The total job took them about five hours, and it looked absolutely perfect when they finished. The installation was flawless, and I know the floor will be there for a long time to come. But if I ever do need a new floor, you can be sure I'll be returning to Tile & Carpet Town Carpet One! Thanks, everyone, for making this a great experience once again! Kathy Sadkin

Dawn Sroka at the Auburn store is the best. She has a great eye for detail and protecting my budget. I have worked with Dawn on several houses and would never go anywhere else. The installation crew was excellent as well. They let me know exactly when they would arrive and very polite and neat.

We just had Tile and carpet Town install carpet in our basement. We have always used them for our flooring needs. We deal with Stan, every time he has met our needs, he is honest and has always provided us with excellent service. The guy who came to measure was professional and on time as well as the installers. We will use TCT in the future and highly recommend them.

I am very happy with my new carpets. The guys did a great job installing them. I feel they were very fair with their prices & their hospitality was very good. I would definitely refer the Auburn store to my family & friends.

We purchased a carpet for our basement bar room.
The installers were prompt, quick and professional.
The support pole was previously covered with the old carpet we were replacing. I was going to leave it alone but the installers stripped it and recovered at no charge, It wasn't supposed to be part of the job. Tom the salesman was also great to deal with. I would recommend Tom and Tile & Carpet Town 1 to anyone in need of Flooring

Been doing business with Tile and Carpet for over 20 years. Never ever been treated so bad. First picked out a vinyl flooring for our laundry, 1/2 bath and small hallway. Order it on May 30th suppose to install on the 30th of June. Called the day before at 7pm stating the roll is short cant install it. Ok this would be after removing the washer and dryer. Said next week Friday OK so i put back washer and dryer. Never called so never called or showed up Friday at 930 am wanted to check the floor before installing. Said floor is on the truck and should be there 2-3 hours.Told me looked great only would take 15 minutes to remove washer and dryer and toilet. But the roll had not come in and expected to be at warehouse in 1-2 hours. They leave and i get a call from Carmen saying you have to reschedule because you're not ready. I say what are you nuts the vinyl wasnt in and by the time you get here i will have the washer and dryer and toilet will be removed. Said no your not ready. I say listen your guys were just here and said all was good. He said my guys said your not ready and the you wanted to reschedule. Said that's a lie, never said that and dont like being called a liar!! I have been waiting over a month. Talk to a manager he claims nothing he can do. I say but wait what happened to my appointment. He said gave it to someone else. Then why have appointments. Felt we were talked to like we were 7 years old. Very condescending. Your screwed up our order over a week ago and this is how you make up for your mistakes? WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THESE GUYS. SOCIAL MEDIA IS GONNA LOVE THIS POST. And for your response Tile and Carpet please dont send your regular scripted response. That a insult to me that you cant even give a personal response

My wife and I have used Tile and Carpet many times in the past including carpeting in the bedroom and the basement, tile in the entrance and tile in the kitchen. This time we had carpeting installed in an upstairs bedroom. We went to Erie Blvd location and met with Stan who helped us with carpet, padding and setting up appointments. First person came within week to measure and he was very nice and professional. And a week later the two installers came to install the carpeting and did an excellent job. Also professional and courteous We are very happy.

We had wood floors installed. This was our third major product in the house (the others were a kitchen floor and countertops). All three installations were handled by Joe (who is extremely knowledgeable about all the products, listens to your limitations, offers excellent suggestions and coordinates the installation with professionalism and verve). The floors were over 600 sq. ft. of product (after removal of carpeting) which was handled by a trio of men (while I forget their exact names - they all started with the same letter! -amazing) who were considerate, extremely professional and sensitive to our time constraints. They called after the first day to inform us they were done and locked he doors; they were prompt on the second day and treated the furniture with care, finally, they finished without a trace that they had been there - they left the house as clean as when they started.
For the record, all our interactions and the results with T&CT at the Erie Blvd, Syracuse location have been excellent. We recommend you start with Joe!

I would recommend the Cicero location. Dave Sampson was great and provided us with a very personalized experience. Dave knew we only had a small time frame to have the installation completed and made sure it happened within a couple days. Unfortunately, the first installation did not go so well. I did not get the names of the installers, but they were very unprofessional and did not do the installation properly. I called Dave and within 24 hours the owner Stan called me to discuss the issue. The solution we came up with was to have the carpet pulled up and properly installed. The second installation went very well. One of the installers was named Bill. He and his partner addressed all my concerns with the first job. The carpet looks great now and we are very pleased with the service we received! Thanks to Dave and his due diligence 😀

A week ago Saturday me and my better half were having a cup of coffee. We decided we needed a new mattress and bought it on line. Then we decided that the room needed fresh paint and if possible new carpet. We bought the paint and Sunday we painted. Monday we went to Tile and Carpet Town Carpet One in Cicero-that was our best decision. Dave guided us on our journey and answered all of our questions and made the experience pleasant and enjoyable. He only showed us carpet that was in stock. It was measured Monday evening and was installed Friday morning. Dave said that Carmen made it happen with the installation- thank you! Steve did a wonderful job with the install-again thank you! I highly recommend this company. They met all our needs-in budget- quick install- great job. WHY WOULD YOU BUY FLOOR COVERING FROM ANYBODY ELSE?? I will have all my future flooring jobs done here and only here.

What a pleasure it was to work with the staff at Tile & Carpet Town Carpet One in Cicero, NY. From the moment we walked into the store and began working with Melynda, we knew we were in good hands. Melynda was willing to take the time to understand our wants and needs as we looked for replacement carpeting in our Bedrooms and Family Room, as well as replacement flooring for our Kitchen.

The next step was having Don come out for measurements. He was right on time, and took his time to get it right. He answered all our questions and gave us some clear direction for next steps. Once he finished the measurements, we went back to see Melynda who took a lot of time to go over everything in great detail. By the end of that night, we made our purchase without once feeling any pressure.

Next was installation. First Brian came out to install our Kitchen tile. What a hard worker! I’ve yet to find a line in our tiles that isn’t exactly straight!!! Then came the carpets. Tim and Jay were on time, professional, and did outstanding work. We have a seam in our family room berber carpet that we still can’t see no matter how hard we try. All three installers had just the right amount of personality and explained everything they were doing as they went along.

Through it all, both Melynda and Dave, in the Cicero Store, have been there to answer every question we’ve thrown at them. We’ve dealt with a lot of retail/service professionals through our lives, but both my wife and I can say that this has been one of the most pleasurable experiences we’ve ever had.

Needless to say, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tile and Carpet Town Carpet One!!!

We've worked with Tile & Carpet for several projects now and have always been very happy with the service we received. We recently redid almost our entire house with hardwood flooring. Dawn worked with us over a long period of time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We used Tile & Carpet's installers and are very happy with their work.

Things started out great, service, estimate and choosing the floor, everyone was wonderful. Removal of existing floor and installation was fine. Shortly after, it was discovered that a few areas needed to be finished or repaired and some damage was done to a wall when hanging the door back on. After calling the store, and getting poor results, a service representative made an appointment with me at my house to see my complaints. An installer was sent to redo the work. This took several weeks as I had to be "fit in" to an already made schedule. I thought the floor looked beautiful but, until I really looked, I didn't realize how pieces were "patched in" and that the mop-boards have too many seams. It looks rather "do it yourselfish" instead of a professional job. Very cold service, no offer of compensation or apology, but rather that it cost THEM money because they had to send another person to fix things and they already paid the first installer for doing the job! I would never recommend them.

Tom in Bayberry store worked patiently with my finicky wife to help select the flooring and Kevin from Erie blvd store helped in selection of tile backsplash. The installers were magnificient at their skills. Everything was completed and site was cleaned up to our satisfaction. Will not hesitate to call on their services again.

My wife and I recently got our kitchen and hallway floor installed by Tile and Carpet Town this summer (2016). In the kitchen, we chose high quality laminate tiles and in the hallway we chose traditional tile flooring. The work was miss-scheduled. Our intended installer Jim was only available to install the kitchen flooring, and another installer installed the hallway flooring.

Jim was an excellent craftsman. He took pride in his work, was amiable and did a wonderful job. He was careful when removing trim and treated our house with care. We were very happy with him.

The second installer was absolutely terrible. I wish I had remembered his name. All I remember is that it was a common name that started with an "M", such as Matt or Mark. He took zero pride in his work, did not want to be there, and had a poor demeanor. He was lazy and did a terrible job. He refused to replace the sub-floor (even though we were told that was to be done), scuffed up the trim terribly, left clumps of cement to dry on the new tiles, tried to place in laminate threshold covers (even though we insisted on wood), and did not clean up after himself sufficiently.

Moreover, I had asked the second installer to cut the bottom of a door so that it could swing over the new flooring. And he strongly resisted. I was willing to pay more (a totally unfair few of $45 for 10 extra minutes of work) and I assisted him with moving the door and holding it in place while he cut it. I heard him talk to our salesperson and audibly complain that he didn't want to do the work!

The second installer left such a sour taste in our mouths that I can't under good conscious recommend this store to anyone.

We have used tile and carpet town for 4 jobs in our house. They never disappoint. I needed a new tile for the kitchen and the salesman was very helpful finding exactly what I wanted. He understands how picky I am and asked all the right questions. The installer was very professional and neat. Tom was very precise on the job ticket and the installer had no problem when he came to the job. The tile floor was torn out and completed on time. Great job! Thanks for all your hard work guys:). We have bought all of our flooring here over the years and had never had any problems until this time. We told our salesperson that we would probably need to replace the subfloor in the powder room we were putting tile in. He noted that and said the person who came to take measurements would look at it. When the measurer came, he didn't mention it at all. We told him to look at it and be sure that it was on the work order. We asked our sales person again about it when we went in to pick the grout, and he assured us that the installer would have everything he needed in the truck, so he could replace the sub floor if needed. So, when the installer arrived and took off the existing floor, he informed us that we needed to replace the subfloor and that he didn't have the materials to do it (he did not have a truck--just a compact car). So he would have to come back another day. We had already taken one day off of work, which would have been sufficient time had they done the order correctly. Needless to say, we had to take another day off so he could come back and do what we told them needed to be done from day one. We have carpeting to replace next, but won't be returning here.
