Book another line
+ Check-in was easy.
+ The cabin was fine, but old.
- people without a cabin, lying on the floor everywehere
- food was not worth the price
- kids play area so small it was overcrowded
- shop is small and overcrowded
- were kicked out of the cabin half an hour before arrival, because of cleaning
Just do yourself a favor and book one of the other lines for the same price.

There was pee from the lowest deck and upp to fifth deck, smelt horrible and the food tasted reeheated bad! The whole place was dirty and on its last breaths!!

No frills ferry service
Checking in, boarding and information all went as planned. There was a pleasant low-key atmosphere on the boat. However, for me who did not have a cabin it was hard to find a comfortable spot to sit and relax during the journey.

The boat was mostly fine; cabin old grimy and worn out.
The boat was mostly fine. Shopping was somewhat limited. The cabin was quite worn and old. This vessel (Akka) sorely needs refurbishing, at least the cabins do. Beds were quite hard. Toilet and shower were grimy, smelly and worn out. Quite quant to only find a radio with four or five channels in the cabin and no other infotainment other than a old timey wall mounted telephone. However, for the purpose of getting from A to B with an OK nights rest it does what it says on the tin.

Worst ferry service ever!
Traveled Klaipeda-Karlshamn (Robin Hood) for the first and last time ever! Very long wait to bord. Dirty interior and smelly. Uninterested staff with 50/50 uniform company/private. Food look like it was prepared 5 hrs earlier and the chef kearned to cock in the 70s and had not picked up anything after that. Cabin although the most expensive was dirty. Carpet not hoovered, table not washed, bed linen torn and faded with signs of old stains. Massive amount of dust behind bed. Unloading took forever and all crs had to wait for the lorries to drive of. Worst ferry ever! If I have not picked up bedbugs or something else its a miracle.

Pre check-in was ok except for some absolutely crazy way to state the expiring date for identification document. HOW can anybody make that kind of idiotic system when there are thousands of examples how to make it easy. Otherwise I would have given four stars.

I upgraded to Club Lounge and I've yet…
I upgraded to Club Lounge and I've yet to find out why. Usually I travel with Irish Ferries and this trip has encouraged me to return to them. The ferry itself seems clean enough. However, if you think you'll be availing of complementary snacks, as you would on an Orish Ferry, think again. We are one hour into a three hour trip and no snacks are left except for odd crisps and packet biscuits. The so called waiter service expires well within a third of the trip. At which point you are advised to head kver to the main restaurant and 'you can carry your food back through if you wish.'
Staff are friendly and helpful (within their given remit) and the club lounge is relatively quiet except for the couple of kids on the far end of it (children definitely ARE allowed in).
All in all, I would use Stena again buy I wouldn't bother paying extra for the lounge pass.
