I was with Clive for some hours and I have to say he is honestly so inappropriate and so bad with his time management, there was numerous of times where he had cancelled last minute, been extremely late and even to the point where I have travelled a long distance and would not come and give a very poor excuse last minute. He is also extremely inappropriate with his choice of music and how he would make some dirty jokes which should not be said again. He has also slept in the car plenty of times while I was learning and had to wake him up for my safety and others as I was a learner.

I’m not one to give bad reviews but this is relevant to any new driver looking to be at ease when learning. Clive seems nice at first but his teaching technique is weird … I’ve never met an instructor who plays music, at first I thought it was good as it helped create a natural setting until he started playing inappropriate music on max level and it really threw me off. I was so embarrassed when the car stopped and people were looking in disgust. I only done 4 hours with him and wanted to get away from him after that. Some people might like that - but defo not for me.

Omg Clive is an excellent teacher, he made me feel at ease at all times, passed the first time, and I’m a lover of loud music, so we vibed on that aswell. Omg I will miss the early morning lessons, but I will pay for another just to drive with him. Thank you Clive you are a vibe 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I’ve just passed my manual driving test with Clive as my instructor.
Addressing the positives; Clive is a very nice and polite guy, who has patience when it comes to mistakes and I am grateful to have passed first time . He is knowledgeable in regards to the rules of the road and is eager to see you succeed. Playing music is a big part of his lessons and he will make that very clear to you during your early lessons. It does help when you are trying to zone into the driving but he has a horrible taste in music so be sure to connect to his car asap.
HOWEVER, Clive has horrible timekeeping and organisation skills. I was told once I have booked my test he would prioritise me, which should not be the case in my opinion because on multiple occasions I had lessons cancelled in succession resulting in an unwanted 3 week period of no driving/ lessons. On one occasion my mum wanted to join me and Clive during a lesson and we were incredibly surprised to look to our left and see Clive dozing off in the passenger seat midway through the lesson when he’s supposed to be supervising me. Mum was incredulous and did not wait a second to tell Clive about his wrong doings; however, it continued throughout the lesson. I was also incredibly shocked, mainly for the fact that I haven’t noticed him sleeping before and the time he does is when my mum is accompanying us. I shouldn’t need to state that this is very unprofessional/unacceptable for an instructor during a lesson.
In conclusion, once again I am grateful that I have passed first time under Clive’s teaching in spite of the mishaps in the past. I believe he is a good instructor with good intentions but he has many major issues that need to be addressed.

I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Antonio! From the very first lesson, he was patient, professional, and incredibly supportive. I struggled with driving anxiety, but Antonio’s calm and reassuring approach helped me manage it with ease. He always took the time to explain things clearly and never made me feel rushed or pressured. His encouragement and steady guidance made a huge difference in building my confidence behind the wheel. Thanks to Antonio, I passed my test feeling prepared and proud. I’d highly recommend him to anyone, especially if you’re feeling nervous about driving—he genuinely cares and goes above and beyond to help you succeed.

I was referred by my friend who passed 1st time with Clive in 2 weeks.

It was a good experience we did lessons with music and we did mock tests in silence to prepare me for the test environment. Clive makes you feel comfortable and confident. I will miss our lessons!

Clive can also get you weekend tests at 7am. The roads were absolutely empty.
It was just me and the examiner out there.

Also top tip - eat a banana before your test, they contain potassium and tryptophan which reduces stress!

I had an excellent experience with Clive. He is a very talented instructor it’s so effortless for him.

Clive also grew up in the Himalayas he had a guru who had mystical powers. Clive grew up next to him from the age of 9.
Clive led a very very disciplined lifestyle from such a young age.
He is very blessed and had the perfect upbringing as a child which is why I believe he is born to teach
He is a guru and if you listen to him and place your trust in him not only will you pass your driving test.
But you’ll grow as a person also.

There are many reviews about how excellent of an instructor he is but nobody knows about Clive’s upbringing and spiritual past
He has been blessed by a very special man in India this is why he is so excellent at what he does
I passed with just 20 hours and I passed 1st time with Clive and we didn’t do one days training in Bromley that’s how much he built my ability to drive well.

Just trust in the process and get signed up for his lessons he is in serious demand

Clive is a very friendly instructor, lessons always feel very relaxed and he’s always providing constructive feedback. With Clive, I passed 1st time with 20 hours of lessons.

He help my son pass on his first attempt after he advice me to book the 30 hours package as it’s cheaper ,he booked him in well in advance and gives him an hour notice before arriving, thanks Clive

Clive is a very enthusiastic driving teacher. He is truly passionate about his work and makes it his life’s mission to ensure that all of his pupils are excellent drivers and well equipped to pass the test. He is detail oriented but also keeps it fun and plays great music if you want it. I recommend if you don’t want a typical boring driving lesson experience

Thanks to Clive I managed to pass first time! Although his methods can be quite unorthodox, they are most certainly effective in turning you into a confident, capable driver. By quickly taking you out of your comfort zone, he will make sure that you are prepared for any challenges that you could possibly face on the road, whether it be tough meeting situations, motorways or Lombard roundabout!! Always with good music, you will certainly have an even better time!

CLIVE. If I could give you 0 stars I would. You are a completely unprofessional person who is a poor excuse of an instructor. You’re very rude and full of yourself. Just because I wanted a refund for my lesson you never turned up to. You began to be rude to me and threaten me with the fact that you are “well connected within the DVSA”. I wanted lessons with and you also wanted them with me but how can u expect me to learn with you if you do not turn up??

Passed with Clive. After many reccomendations from my family members who passed with Clive, I took up lessons and he was a wonderful instructor! he is extremely good at getting you onto the road and any reservations and fears you will have, he will stamp it out very very quickly. Once you get over that, he can teach you to handle the car like an expert, you gotta trust the process cause it just works.

I pass my test 1ST 🥇 time. I really enjoyed my lesson with Clive without music. If you’re a little over thinker like me. Clive will remove all your doubts and YOU will become a great driver!!!

Honor was taught by Clive to drive in a real life situation. He took her out in the dark and taught her to drive with music playing. He was very thorough at teaching manoeuvres and gave Honor an amazing confidence when driving. She is a very calm, competent driver thanks to Clive. My nearly 17 year old will be learning with him soon.

I met Clive through two friends who had both passed first time. They had recommended me to Clive and i was ensured he was proper and could get the job done which he did, got me a test quickly and passed test. Already recommended him.

I had a previous instructor and we didn’t really connect. After Covid and getting in an accident, I was very reluctant on learning to drive again. Clive brought me out of my slump and gave me the confidence I needed. Clive helped me through personal issues as well as helping me pass! Hi everyone I just passed my driving test today first time With with Clive and I got to tell you that man is a genius he will teach you everything you need to know , I couldn’t have gotten a better instructor, after not driving for 5 years this man helped me get back on my feet if you get the chance I would 100% recommend Clive , he will talk you through everything and give you very good tips on how to pass , definitely money well spent !! Our son had a tight window to get his driving licence this summer. He did an intensive course over 2 weeks with Clive and passed first time today. Clive is a highly experienced instructor, he paced the lessons very well, taught our son not only to pass the test, but also to be a responsible and confident driver.

We could not have asked for a better instructor. Anyone looking to learn to drive manual, we highly recommend Clive.
