Too bad I cannot give minus ratings! Four hours delay ( and counting) , no information whether at the airport in Tunis nor from any person working for Tunisair. It is obviously managed by incompetent baffoons. Luckily due to the strike ( no plan B ?) we are not obliged to endure the ill-mannered and impolite Tunesien crew. What an experience….

TUNISAIR wants to charge me 50% extra…

TUNISAIR wants to charge me 50% extra for checking in!!! I bought my ticket online and paid for it, they just asked my name and email and the day to check in they added a 50% just to check in fees and add my passport number on it, it is not normal and this is a rip off!! Very frustrating
I won’t fly with them again

Unreasonable delay

My flight was to take off in Brussels at 12:25 pm. But we finally took off at 2:45 pm. We landed in Tunis at 4pm.
The connecting flight that was supposed to take off at 5:10 pm was rescheduled for 00:30 the next day without any communication from the staff. We found out on the screen. Well, that was my first and last trip with them. Never again 😥😥😥

I wish I could’ve given zero stars as…

I wish I could’ve given zero stars as I’ve had the most dreadful experience with this airline. Two flights in one week and both were delayed by just under 3 hours. Very bad customer service, no explanation about the delays whatsoever. I will never use this airline again.

Terrible service, worse delays

30 minutes before take off the plane was delayed 2 hours with announcement, email, or text. They didn’t open security until 10 minutes before our new departure time. Then we sat in another waiting room for another 45 minutes. All of this without air conditioning, and when staff we asked questions they would literally wave customers away. Currently still not on a plane (one hour flight) that was supposed to leave 3 hours ago.

My wife and I booked flights from Barcelona to Tunis on Tunisair, paying for business class seats. We flew in from Mallorca with an hour and a half before the flight. By the time we received our baggage from this arriving flight and made our way to check in it was 15:03, with the flight departing at 16:00. The check in desks were abandoned.
After enlisting the help of Airport Information, they checked that the desks were supposed to be manned until 15:30 and gave me a contact number for Tunisair, which I rang. I was told by the customer 'service' representative that check in closes 1 hour before the flight, and there was nothing they could do. They offered to change the flight to the next available, 3 days later, but this was when we were supposed to depart from Tunisia to Sicily, so that was no use. I pleaded with him to have one of their staff process our luggage, as we'd already checked in online, but he stubbornly refused and ended up hanging up on me. All for the fact that we were 3 minutes too late checking in for a flight that was leaving in just under an hour. This was particularly annoying given we'd paid a premium for business class, which with any other worthwhile airline gives you access to better service.
This attitude by Tunisair meant we had to cancel our hotel, pre-booked taxis, an expensive chauffeured tour to out-of-town historic centres, cancelling ongoing airline trips out of Tunis, new airline bookings, new hotel accommodation, and major changes to travel plans.
Not impressed, Tunisair. You don't deserve to be in business, and I caution anyone from even thinking about travelling with them.

Our paid seats cancelled

To the customer services lady i have spoken to at 1210H today May 6,2025 on number 02030568998 you are extremely rude. Even hang up the phone. Called again and a guy answered with a better information on my issue. The lady insisted me to email and no phone to call at all but the guy gave me a phone number to ring. Tunisair cancelled our paid seats so obviously asking them why it was cancelled. Emailed them last May 2, until now May 6 no reply. That's why i'm calling them. Obviously we want to be seated together thats why we paid.

Don't recommend at all!

Don't recommend at all!! Flights extremely late, with continuous change in schedules, no compensation for delays. Airport not organised, continuous change in doors and gates with no previous notice, you need to wait in lines that don't lead anywhere in the end. Do not recommend this airline under any circumstances

Avoid at all costs!!!! Never ever ever use this airline.
I had a flight at 9 am, got moved to 7 am so i had to get up very early. Arring at the airport got moved to 11:30 am and then 12am. Lost connection flight and they take no responsability.

Awful Tunisair airline!!!

I had a very bad experience with Tunisair on my flight Madrid-Tunis of 6.04.2025. Whithout giving an explanation, they changed my purchased seat. Also, the take off time was delayed three times with no explanation whatsoever. I lost all my connections (transfer to Sousse) in Tunios airport after landing. Please: never Tunisair!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Worst airline ever

Worst airline ever. We were delayed for 34 hours, which is a lot on a one-week vacation. Our complaint hasn't been met yet and it has been one and a half year since we took the trip.

The flight was supposed to depart on 13 October 2023 at 11:55 AM.
First, we were informed that the flight would be delayed, as a person on the previous flight had needed oxygen and they needed to refill the oxygen tanks before we could take off.
After 3 hours we were given a voucher for a sandwich and drink. After several more hours we were informed that the flight would not depart until the next day.
We were taken by taxi (free of charge) to hotels (free of charge) for the night. We didn't leave the airport until around 8 PM, and we had to purchase some dinner and beverages for which we paid ourselves (this should be reimbursed from the airline). The next day, we also had to purchase food and beverages, which should also be reimbursed from the airline.
The new flight was scheduled to depart on 14 October 2023 at 9:40 PM and arrive in Monastir at 11:40 PM, but was delayed again and we ended up arriving 15 October 2023 at 00:10 AM.

We have an ongoing case through the German "Schlichtungsstelle Luftverkehr beim Bundesamt für Justiz", but are still waiting for a response from Tunisair here one and a half year later.

I wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone!

damaged luggage, poor customer service

Initially this flight was no frills but actually alright for the price - 3 hour journey with a full meal served to us

However they damaged our suitcase in multiple places which made it almost impossible to take back home on public transport from Heathrow

We filled out a claims form the day after (almost a month ago now) and haven't heard back yet..I called the uk branch for support and was given a mobile number who are apparently the team who can help me chase it..surprise surprise it keeps going to voicemail..I called the original customer service back and he hung up on me (same agent)

I will get my compensation but unfortunately for you Tunisair, this is another bad review

Routinely cancelled or delayed

I avoid TunisAir if I have to be sure to catch a connecting flight because their flights are routinely cancelled or delayed. Even when informed that there is a delay (thank you), the flight is often delayed further: You get to the airport to find out that the delayed flight is delayed (i.e., even later than advised) and the revised departure time will be advised later. Four hours later, the revised time was announced .....

This is the third or fourth time there has been a cancellation or delay in the last two years.

The food is poor quality, too.

They used to be good.

Do your research before you book with…

Do your research before you book with this airline! Look for other flights and leave this company as a last resort.
Flight delay after delay on connecting flights! No communication, no emails, no consideration to its customers and explanation as to why the flights are being delayed for long duration! This is my first time flying with this airline and I’m applaud by the entire experience! DO NOT FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE
