No More Conflict Between Fulfilling Needs (JOB) & Following Dreams (TRAVELLING & PET CARE)

I have completed 4 months in Turing.com and I'm happy that I chose this place over my previous employment. I'm an avid traveler, always ready with my backpack, and also a pet parent of 16. With the remote job I can spend more quality time with my fur babies, I can stay by them whenever they need more attention, and also I can plan more short trips - solo or with my gang!
I have found better work-life balance with the job. I need to work 8 hours with complete dedication and there is no added traveling time... what could be better than this! And also, pay is higher than any local employer and always on time. Also, no need to create fake reasons to get approval on planned leaves. All that is required is to inform a little earlier, keep the assigned tasks on track, and the team will take care of the rest!
Moreover, a large team makes all of us learn from each other and the work culture, approach allow everyone to share their views, opinion, ideas, without hesitation.
Though I was not sure earlier if remote job would work for me, now I appreciate my decision.

Great work culture to learn and improve your technical and business skills.

Hi, I am from Istanbul and I am a Data Scientist at Turing.com. I am responsible for the improvement of the algorithms that are used for finding the best developers across the globe.

Being a part of the technology team, I can safely say that it has one of the best cultures I have seen. One can improve both technical as well as business skills. Everyone respects your chosen working hours and won’t disturb you with any task outside your working hours.

The best part for me is the remote working environment. I used to waste around 2.5 hours a day commuting to the office as Istanbul is a very crowded city. But now, I am able to take out time for my family and friends.

I have more time to share with my family, friends, and my dog!

Hi, I currently reside in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am a part of Turing’s pre-sales team. My task is to get in touch with the developers for non-technical evaluation and gather information like availability, interests, expectations, etc. and help them finalize their Turing profile to get them ready for matching with our clients.

Even though it is a totally remote job, I meet a lot of people around the world. People are always ready to help here and respect your personal space. I don’t have to expose myself and my family to Covid as my job is completely working from home. I am able to save a lot of time as I don’t have to travel to the office daily.

Turing has a great culture and offers many avenues to explore in your career.

Hi, I am from a small town in Argentina. I work as a Data Scientist at Turing.com. My job is to combine programming skills with statistical and machine learning proficiency to bring in improvements at Turing’s platform.

I enjoy working with this company as it has a completely remote working environment. The key benefits are that I am able to be with my family and friends all the time, even while working. In my area, there are not many good opportunities and I would have to shift to a bigger city for a better job. But, thanks to Turing, I am able to work at a great workplace without relocating at all.
The best part of working here is that you don’t need to clock in and out everytime you take a break. Whenever I feel like I have a blocker in my mind, I take a break, go for a short walk or do some gardening and I am back with a fresh mind to work. This is a great place to work as it is not ‘stuck in its ways’ and anything you bring to table will be appreciated and cultivated.

Turing.com: A great employer and a good place to work at.

Hi, I am a Marketing Analyst at Turing and my job is to drive growth for the organization. An ideal day at my profile looks like analyzing data, deriving inferences from it, strategizing appropriate action, implement and then measure results.

I really enjoy the flexibility that comes with this job. I have worked at 2 non-remote companies before Turing and none of them gave me the freedom to choose my own pace. Non-remote work actually drains off a lot of time from your daily schedule (traveling, frequent tea breaks, office gossips :P).

Turing has a very employee-friendly work culture and everyone here is helpful and understanding. You own your work and you enjoy the success.

Turing has a great mission statement

Hi, I’m the Project Manager at Turing.com from Argentina. My work deals with planning, organizing, directing product improvements, developer events and several other tasks.

Turing mainly runs on a data-driven approach. You have to be self-driven and should take initiative. Be it at any level, your suggestions or proposals for refinements or to develop a new process are always welcomed. You get to collaborate with people from across the globe that helps you learn a lot about their skills and gain new perspectives.

Also, local jobs in my country have rigid work timings with less pay and many regulations. Here, I have flexible working hours and more freedom.

Hoping my Turing.com review gives you a clear picture of the organization.

They are spammers

They are spammers. I got an email about a month ago saying someone told them I’m the best software engineer out there. They gave the person’s email address and I have no clue who it is. I’m sure it was a lie though. For one thing I’m not a software engineer and I have no desire to become one. Lol.
It follows up with a link to confirm an account they already created for me and supposedly they help me find a job. Only a crappy company would do that. Very bad marketing. I asked them to unsubscribe me but I got another email just like that today. I asked them to unsubscribe me. They responded quickly and said they will but time will tell.

Turing is vacation-plus-work sometimes

I work as a Marketing Analyst at Turing, my work mainly is to look after the outbound marketing activities like email marketing, ads and examining their performances.

Turing has a working environment that is diverse in culture. Working at this company, I’ve encountered supportive co-workers.

I don’t have to struggle anymore with the traffic or login at a specific time. I don’t have to worry about relocating to a new place for work. Somehow it has erased all the hassles.

Till now the job has been great, I’ve learned various new things in terms of my work and I don’t even need to worry about taking a vacation because sometimes it’s more or less like the blend of both.

For me, it’s a great place. It has a good working environment and surplus career growth opportunities. I hope my Turing review gives you an idea of how it will be to work in the company.

Management is cooperative and welcoming with the benefit of working at hours that suit you.

Hey, I’m from India, and I have joined as a Talent Specialist at Turing.com. My work deals with helping the senior management to hire the best software developers available from all over the world for the internal software team.

Before mentioning any of the good points of Turing company, I’d like to say, you can work at your convenience and at a time that suits you the best. Turing’s remote work culture is also one of the best aspects of my job. I no longer have to struggle through the traffic to reach the office. I just sit and log in at an hour as per my convenience. The flexible working hours have made life pretty easy. I don’t face the extra pressure of traveling, dressing, or logging in at a specific time.

Also, senior management appreciates your work and respects your ideas that come from the employees.

There is career growth in this company.

Great team and sense of autonomy - but keep in mind it's a startup

I’m an Account Executive at Turing. I am responsible for taking inbound calls, reviewing the Turing model with prospective customers, and managing their experience when they decide to move forward with us - ideally helping them to hire engineers.

Good things:
- I like the autonomy of being able to manage myself and my work, and the ability to work from anywhere.
- Management is very open and communicative about navigating onboarding.
- As long as you’re getting your work done, Turing is pretty flexible about how you're getting it done.
- The organization has a true sense of vision and mission that trickles down from the CEO. There is also a sense of teamwork and collaboration even though everyone is located in different regions across the world - Turing does a great job of trying to cultivate a global workplace culture!

Room for Improvement / Headsup:
- For those who want to be a part of the Turing family, be prepared to be a little overwhelmed - especially in the beginning - it is a startup and there are still processes that are not yet figured out and not a lot of SOP's created for the processes that do exist.
- The training process is also very minimal, which means that you're kind of learning as you go and when you don't know something - it can hold up your workflow while you try to figure it out or ask for help. This means it can be easy to get blocked. That being said these are issues management is aware of and is trying to improve. On top of that everyone is very nice and helpful (just very busy as well :) ).

Helpful team members and positive work culture make Turing an ideal remote workplace!

Hi! I’m from Indore, India and I work with the content team at Turing. Job opportunities in Indore are fewer, and apart from that, I’m also prone to introvertedness. For me, a non-remote job would’ve been a nightmare irrespective of the country I’m in, so remote work is the best option. What makes my Turing job different from others is the optimistic work culture, helpful team members, and flexible working hours. Additionally, everyone values your ideas here and believes in mutual growth.

Turing jobs give you the freedom to work from your home without relocating to another city!

Personally for me, most of the best opportunities would require relocation to another city away from where I live. That could be in another state or even neighbouring cities. This comes with a lot of costs and commitments. So earlier even before you were sure of committing to a job for a long period of time, you have to invest in ten different things to be able to start and see how it actually is your cup of tea. And I feel that's really why the majority of the workforce in my network lives with on a day to day basis.

But I had zero worries while joining up with Turing! And to no surprise, it has turned out to be so much more than I expected! I'm definitely holding onto this cup of tea :)

The balance. I've found the focus on work-life balance and well-being extremely refreshing and freeing. You're never overworked or pushed to work beyond 40 hours in a week.

Here at Turing.com, I'm a part of the content team, and I’m primarily helping out with developer facing content and copy efforts. If you’re searching for Turing jobs or you wish to be among us, I'd say just put your best foot forward and showcase the extent of your talent. It will definitely speak for itself, and Turing's ears are always seeking the sound of talented folks!

I love that nobody bothers me here on the weekends or outside work hours!

Hey, I’m a Social Media Specialist at Turing.com.
My work is to analyse and create effective content strategies to drive traction and growth through our social media handles.

Here are the things that I love about Turing:

The freedom to make my own work hours.
Ample time to fit in my workouts and experiment with hobbies I never had time for before!
The fact that nobody from work bothers me outside work hours or on the weekends!
Daily commuting was always an issue for me. I’ve had to let go of prospective opportunities because of their distance from my residence. I don’t have to bother about commuting to work anymore.

The work culture here is so positive! People are always lending each other a helping hand and the management is also very encouraging.

If you’re planning to join Turing, JUST GO FOR IT!
