Great reliable partner for teachers and students.

Spam!!! They stole my money, irgnore me since January, I know have trouble with the bank to get my money back, today O wrote one last Email, if they ignore me further I have to go to the police! Be careful! They take more money then they are supposed to and customer service is terrible, again, they ignore me since January

The platform changed a few months ago: now, those interested in finding a teacher must pay to get in touch with them. This has significantly reduced the number of contacts. While I do agree that using the platform should involve a fee, I believe it should be the teacher’s responsibility to cover this cost once classes have been arranged. Before this last change, the platform worked wonderfully. I have used it for more than 4 years and I have had incredible teaching experiences through it. Pity this change hasn't improved the site.

THIS IS A SCAM. I have just found out they have been taking £19 from my account every month since last May without my permission. Have spoken to the fraud team at my bank and they have confirmed it’s a scam and have blocked this payee. This was from a debit card so I can only get 4 months of charges back?!

This platform is very intuitive and it's very easy to use. It also sends alerts when there are students that match with your needs.

Charged me for not even using the service for over a year, customer service absolutely useless, they make it impossible to cancel your subscription, moreover they make you think it’s a one time fee and you fins out only after they charged you again, you pay for verification but after payment they want so many documents you don’t have from you so you can’t verify even though you paid, absolutely ridiculous system, would not recommend

Tusclases has always been functional if not a little clunky - I’ve been using it for about 10 years. Unfortunately, now they are asking students to pay (20 euros!!) to contact a teacher. Who wants a subscription for a year just to find a teacher??!

It’s a shame that greed often gets in the way of a good idea.

On top of this they have introduced AI classes with an apparent 5 star rating over 617 reviews but, the reviews are "not available" to the public - at least I can't see them apart from the same 5 on the rotating carousel at the bottom of the page - customer service also “don’t know” how to access them. I would not trust this for one second and I suspect the reviews are not real.

Tusclases siempre ha sido funcional, si no un poco torpe - lo he estado usando durante unos 10 años. Por desgracia, ahora piden a los estudiantes que paguen (¡¡20 euros!!) para ponerse en contacto con un profesor. ¿Quién quiere suscribirse durante un año sólo para encontrar un profesor?

Es una pena que la codicia se interponga a menudo en el camino de una buena idea.

Además de esto, han introducido clases de AI con una aparente calificación de 5 estrellas sobre 617 opiniones, pero las opiniones «no están disponibles» para el público, al menos yo no puedo verlas aparte de las mismas 5 en el carrusel giratorio en la parte inferior de la página; el servicio de atención al cliente tampoco «sabe» cómo acceder a ellas. Yo no me fiaría ni un segundo y sospecho que las opiniones no son reales.

I appreciate how quick and easy it is to complete a profile on the platform, which makes the onboarding process smooth. However, I wanted to share some feedback regarding the verification and ad promotion system.

While I understand the need for verification and featuring options, requiring a payment for verification can be discouraging—especially for those just starting out and unfamiliar with the platform. Not being verified can create a lack of trust for potential students, yet at the same time, if someone is new and hesitant to invest before seeing results, this requirement may deter them from using the platform altogether.

A more accessible verification method—perhaps a free basic verification option or a trial period—could help new instructors gain trust while ensuring a positive experience for both teachers and students.

I am about to start using this service. For now I apreciate the possibilities for showing specific teaching capabilities, hope this can allow more good teaching experiences.
