I recently ordered a 14" notebook from them in my pursuit to get back into the world of linux; I figured go big or go home ;-) and after comparing them to Slimbook and system76, I decided to go with the Tux.
They were extremely transparent throughout the entire process - The package was delivered in a very cool format with lots of little thoughtful goodies.
The build quality was more than I was expecting and the effort they put in towards their own flavor of Ubuntu w/ Budgie DE has really paid off.

I had some question regarding delivering multiple products separately in case one of them is not in stock. The response was within half an hour and at the same time very to the point and polite. This is all a need from any customer support service. Well done and keep doing an excellent job!!!

The Tuxedo team has gone to great lengths to fix the minor issues that came up with my XUX7 and I have received excellent care and an almost unbeatable linux laptop.
There are probably some things that could be improved in the software (we must not forget that it is Linux) but the technical team at Tuxedo Computers works to ensure that the user experience is satisfactory and Tuxedo OS works perfectly.
Thanks to all the Tuxedo staff (and especially Gabriel).

Ordered Pulse 15 in June 2021, Delivery was very late, however, it was at the hype of lock-down so I kind of understand that.
The trouble began in September when I noticed that when I turn it on it goes through pages and pages of some random repeated lines of 'something' however if I'd pressed a random key I was still able to access the OS in the end, so I didn't investigate further.
In October however, the message was that there are corrupted files in an encrypted folder or something...and the OS was not accessible anymore, anyway I'm not an expert on Linux but they are behaving as I should be. The customer support team was available via email correspondence, however, this goes very very slowly as I'm not an expert and also when a reply is received the solution doesn't necessarily work. I believe trying to sort out a coding problem via email correspondence is pointless and is annoying, at least to say, to both parties involved. I probably spent 15h on trying what they recommended...I know it sounds silly, but going backward and forwards to email, checking if they replied, trying this and trying that, then another email, then no reply on Friday afternoon, then new email received on Tuesday and so no, on...really they are a total joke! What I recommended initially before we dove into an 'email ping-pong', was to have an online session of 1h and the problem should be sorted if they know what they are doing. They said 'no' to my proposal as they don't' do that! In 2021! Even human doctors are treating patients via video conference call these days and as a matter of fact, they really shouldn't!
Their last reply was to do a fresh install, and save what I have on it, however, I don't know how to do it myself, by writing lines of code language. Also, I'm not sure why should I, if they initially installed OS for what I paid. On top of that their initial install is only a few months old so it should be in the warranty.
So, where we are now?
Pulse 15 Gen 1 is still in its protected cover until I find some time to find someone who will be able to fix it. I'd pay for it as I have some documents on it I don't wanna lose with a fresh installation only.
I bought this computer to somehow support Linux orientated community, however bizarrely, Tuxedo is not doing a favor to a Linux community! It would be easy to sort this issue out, however, they chose an unfortunate path of annoying people.

I probably expected too much.
I wanted to buy a Linux-compatible hardware with everything setup and no hassle required. I think I'd be better of building the system myself. It would take the same amount effort and would be more fun anyway.
Bought one of the ITX mini systems. It was build and delivered relatively quickly.
The ITX case feels cheap. The included 12V non-name power brick looks like it won't hold for long and produces visible sparks whenever I plug it in the case.
Regarding the case itself, surprisingly, the perforation for air intake is only on the sides. There is no direct path for air to the CPU cooler.
The AKASA cpu cooler is a joke. It is puny and loud as hell. Had to buy a low-profile Noctua cooler to replace it. Will probably also do some modifications to the case top cover.
A cherry on top was a chipped front-panel USB motherboard connector.
Ordered kubuntu to be installed. I'd appreciate more to have the wifi driver set up properly instead of having the tuxedo bloatware pre-installed.

I am building and repairing notebooks and Pc now for more then 30 years.
Tuxedo computers seems dishonest, insincere and just ugly and greedy:
they are selling the cheapest hardware to boutique prices and telling people something about Linux and cloud and good support.
They are promising that everything is working 100% - well would be great if this would be true, but it is not. I think you have better user experience with a Ubuntu on any Pc or notebook then buying Tuxedo hardware and their "optimized" software packages.
I had to buy a PC for my father, who is now 83 years old.
We chose the Tuxedo Nano which is an Intel Nuc, just 300 euros higher price.
After more then 2 months after ordering Tuxedo Computers answers my question about the delivery date with the info that they do not have it in stock and the have no clue when and if my ordered computer will be available, for real!
I can see on my invoice the words: everything in stock!
I wanted to bring that nightmare to a good ending so I changed my order two times because all alternatives where suddenly also not in stock anymore.
So, they promised me everything is in stock, I had to pay upfront, then without informing me they waited more then 2 months and after I asked they advised to change the order to another
pc that was not available, too.
This nightmare as mentioned was going on for some more weeks and after the third change of my order I had to make a decision and cancelled my order.
Some weeks later, I finally got my money back.
So after it took me more then 4 months I was able to order the same computer from Alternate Computers in Hesse.
I saved more then 300 Euros and I got the computer the next day.
The mini Pc is working great - You do not need Tuxedo Computers to use Linux.
Just buy a PC, install Ubuntu and you are happy - do not get fooled and manipulated by greedy people.
In my whole life, I have never experienced people who were so greedy and so dishonest. If you look into the google reviews you can see how the owner or one of its helpers helpers is trying to manipulate people: he is saying for example, that many companies have problems getting their products in time. Well as I said, I got mine from Alternate just the next day. I think its totally dishonest to say: yes, I have everything here, just please pay upfront, we need just some days to assemble it together...and then after 3 months you will see you were told some untrue stories. very bad company - ugly!

Awesome laptop I bought from here, still use it. Full Linux compatibility and reliable hardware.

So far, so good! According to the initial email I received after ordering, the laptop was to be built and shipped some time in three weeks after ordering. The laptop was not only shipped, but received in less than 2 weeks, really impressive considering it came to the US from Germany and a lot of that time was spent in customs. The package it came in came with some nice gifts, including Tuxedo stationery, a Linux penguin mousepad, and some reading material about the laptop.
The laptop itself also exceeds expectations, though I have previously been using a very old Dell. The build quality seems very solid and it feels like something you would pay a much higher price for. It is very fast and runs all programs in a snap, including video-intensive ones, and the video is impressive. It is totally silent most of the time and doesn't generate much heat or fan noise, even under high workloads.
I'm thinking this will not be my last Tuxedo.

Bought an InifinityBook and two weeks after delivery the WIFI-module was dead. There is hardly anyone responding to repair and support requests via mail. Calling them is more or less senseless because there is no one that can decide obviously.
So they sell their stuff but they have no way to take care of support. Don't buy there!

Awful service
Got a computer from them an InfinityBook S14 Gen 6. Came 3 weeks late (with no communications).
The build quality is on the cheap side. A defective pixel .. but who cares. Problem is ... the computer freezes after about 30 minutes of use. Seems like overheating related .. but go figure. Support is probably the worst I have seen. Ignoring messages - and then a week later with 0 context a random "did you update the Bios to the latest" ?
Answers are baseline impolite and totally clueless. I'd expect at least a hackery "compile a custom Kernel with these extensions off and those very weird values". Nah. Just useless. Most of the time just ignoring me. And although they have a phone listed for support.. they never answer it. Also don't hope for a support portal.
I am still within the 2 weeks revocation period and they refuse the return of the product.

Beginning of May I ordered a TUXEDO Polaris 17 - Gen1 and received it on May 31 which was 3 weeks
and two days and was almost as anticipated.
I needed a 17 inch laptop and the Polaris 17 - Gen1 was good enough for my use case (I am not into game playing).
First of all, I have to say that 8 or 9 years ago I purchased a TUXEDO laptop and at that time the only real weakpoint was the fan which got loud in many situations where it shouldn't get loud.
So, my first test was to do some non-trivial compilations of some programs and I was pleased to find that the fan was no issue at all. Very good!
Next was to play with the pre-installed TUXEDO Ubuntu 20.04 with Budgie which I didn't like much. So, I tried WebFAI to install an Ubuntu 20.04 LTS which gave me Gnome (this is what I am used to). It was good to see that WebFAI worked fine with no issues at all.
I came from Fedora 34 and decided to install Ubuntu 20.04 LTS but with luks and btrfs which means to do some manual work as the Ubuntu installer doesn't deal with btrfs properly out of the box.
I am happy with my decision as
- with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS I have the TUXEDO software (e.g. TUXEDO Control Center) ouf of the box
- although many of the software versions are older in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS than in Fedora 34 I could install newer versions with snap where I really needed it.
- I am able (using nvidia-prime) to switch between NVIDIA graphics card and the built in Radeon Graphics card which in most situations is good enough for my use cases.
Regarding finding useful information TUXEDO did quite a good job to offer support and help information via their web site.
Finally, I am very happy. The fan is no issue at all. Performance is good enough. Customization of
some of my more complicated software settings (switching from Fedora to Ubuntu), although not
trivial for me, worked amazingly smoothly.

I ordered a PC and prepaid the order. All components were “in stock” and time to build was stated as “3 weeks”.
After 3 weeks and no change, I emailed customer service and after some days, I was told that a part was missing. I'd have to wait an unspecified amount of time, but anytime very soon.
Another week later, I was emailed that yet another part was out of stock, and I was offered to pay more money for an upgrade that is in stock. I wasn't offered a cheaper, similar upgrade option though (which according to their website is in stock, but would give me a refund rather than paying an extra 10%).
I am very disappointed, very annoyed, and I feel like the information about stock on the website is simple wrong or deceptive. You shouldn't run out of stock for orders already paid in full.
According to some popular social media site, I am also not alone with my experience.
Update:
I also already own and use a notebook made by Tuxedo, and I'm quite happy with that device.
I've talked with customer support via phone, which was much more reachable than by email, and we find a good solution.

It took 3 weeks to receive my Polaris 15 laptop, but I am very happy with it. They added some additional free goodies as a surprise (magazine, mouse pad, key chain, reinstall usb stick), which was nice. I decided to install Manjaro on it and everything works flawlessly (media keys, resume after sleep, keyboard backlights, everything). Read so many Linux challenges around this, so was pleasantly surprised it all worked out of the box. External monitor only works with dGPU, so took some fiddling around (optimus-manager), but also works fine. Anyway, I find it great value.

Before buying my Tuxedo Aura 15, I had read some negative reviews of this company's customer support, but I hoped I would not have a chance to experience it myself. However my laptop came with operating, but faulty SSD.
More than three weeks after I wrote about my problems to Tuxedo I finally received a reply, offering a replacement part, which I agreed to replace myself. It took another week for them to contact me again saying that the part will be sent to me SHORTLY and I must send the faulty part back.
So in total, a month has passed, I am still not sure if they have sent a replacement SSD and when I will be able to fix my laptop. But now I have several days left to take out and send the faulty SSD to them...
I must admit, the correspondence from Tuxedo side is polite and nice, just as their comments on posts on this site, but the time it takes them to take action is not acceptable.

Great experience, hardware and prices.
The value for price is exceptional, which is normal when you factor in that these guys allow you to not get a *** Windows licence with the hardware.
The support and delivery can be a bit slow but it is understandable since they are a small company. They were able to cancel my order and re-ship it quickly to a different address because I had to move due to COVID.
All in all A+

Reply from TUXEDO Computers
They shipped my laptop to the wrong place despite me sending them emails and tickets about address update prior to shipping. They shipped to the wrong one anyways and its now stuck somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
They can update address at any time (even after its shipped) but they decided to ignore me and shipping company. Shipping company was also trying to contact them because address they used is incorrect but no luck there either.
It's been about 1 month now since they stopped responding and answering phones form people. Now I have no money and no laptop.
EDIT:
Laptop was picked up by a friend who happened to be free and willing to ship it to me. Got it now.
Laptop itself is fine, no problems with it. Works as expected

I've bought TUXEDO Aura 15. I had high hopes for their product and even made my own keyboard layout. But I've received completely unusable computer which has crushed on the first boot. It is crushing, freezing and losing data. I've even made video ("TUXEDO's laptop is getting mad" on YouTube). Support takes weeks to answer on emails and the answers are random. It seems the staff has no idea what they are doing. After I send the laptop to their service for repair I’ve received it back not able even to boot. Great! Now I am trying to contact someone from company but there is no answer nor by email nor by phone(
It’s even surprisingly how bad it is. I don’t recommend this company.
2 months in, still do not have a working laptop due to multiple problems. I really wanted to use these guys to support the Linux community with hardware that "just works" with Linux, but I'd have been better just buying a Dell or something and installing Ubuntu.
Customer support frequently AWOL as described below. Trying to get refund.

Preface: I really wanted to like Tuxedo Computers , I really did. I’ve been a Linux user for a long time and I thought that buying from these guys was a nice way to support the open source ecosystem.
My experience has been bad: they forgot to assemble the WiFi adapter and sent me a practically unusable laptop . But the worst part is that they don’t have a very efficient customer service: you send them an email, hope they read it, and wait pretty much days to hear a reply from them.
Plus, they did nothing to compensate for their mistake and my wasted time, they didn’t even say they’re sorry!
I must say that I don’t recommend them, probably you’d be better going to some competitor and save yourself some time/disappointment/stress.
It’s a shame, because I really like the laptop.
