Getting worse by the day. From mid June 2021 sound synchronisation is awful, some channels like Quest do no start and less free channels are available.
It keeps stopping the broadcast, forcing to keep hitting the play button.

This app is now not fit for purpose on the Amazon Firestick platform. It does work on other mobile platforms which might be enough for the developer. Programmes hang and repeat and then carry on when the stream catches up. I have very reliable, fast broadband and all other apps work just fine. Really channel disappeared some time ago and now ITV channels also. Waste of money even though only £6.99. Looking to move to Pluto and/or possibly the Now app. As with other posts, I can’t understand why Amazon doesn’t pair with the Freeview app. Ignore their response to log a ticket. This is a cop out and generally used in the software industry to address unique customer issues. It’s not meant for fundamental issues with the software. The developer needs to address this or stop taking subscriptions on Firestick issues. I won’t be “logging a ticket” I’ll delete the app until it works properly.

It has been weeks now since I was able to watch anything through tvplayer, it no longer even plays clunkily it just doesn't work (on several amazon fire sticks). I keep returning to it optimistically but all I ever get is the dreaded red spinning wheel or more frequently the message "an unexpected error has occurred". Diabolical! Wish I had an alternative.

gets into a program only for it to freeze..some channels are fine but history nat geo and history 2 are unwatchable in the evening..ive started to watch Pluto TV now and its no trouble at all

This App does not work, can only watch a few minutes of laggy TV, then failed to load appears, I have this app on half a dozen firesticks all have the same problem, uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem, not the WiFi as every other app works fine. I really wish Amazon would get the Freeview App which works great on my android devices instead of this rubbish.

Recently tvplayer fails to load nearly everything I watch.
Have spent most of the night pressing ok the play again to continue watching the program I want to watch..

TV player is dreadful. Regularly fails to load video so won't play, also forces me to keep re-signing in every so often. Very slow to navigate and make programmes work even when it does work. Rubbish...can't believe Amazon can't find a better way to offer regular UK TV channels. What a joke

I have to say this by far and above the worst app I have ever encountered. Nat Geo wasn’t working last week. This week complete loss of all channels a few days ago and now all channels regularly stop with the ‘failed to load video’ error again. I keep hoping the service will improve but I’m now at the end of my goodwill.

How does this App get away with such poor performance? I refuse to pay monthly for it, keeps freezing, failing to load video is the most recent message that pops up! It just throws you out or screen goes blank! Plz sort it or shut it down, no other apps do this! Dreadful and so frustrating!

Trying tvplayer for the first time tonight, and what a disappointment it is. The video quality is terrible, despite having a very fast, wired, ethernet connection, and there are constant freezes and buffering.
People are going to be using this on 4K TVs, and you're offering 720p at best, and it still buffers.
Utterly dreadful for 2021, even Sky Go is better and Sky don't care about anything outside of their Sky boxes.

Terrible terrible terrible.
Constantly just stops while watching live tv, having to reload webpage several times before it starts playing again. My internet connection is fine and speed more than good enough.
To add to this awful experience I’m paying £6.99 for,
I can’t even get MTV, Comedy Central or CC Extra on the app for my Xbox one, which is how I stream. It’s missing loads of channels.
You didn’t advertise that when you signed me up and took my money. What a scam.

One of your advisors contacted me today to say that Xbox app is no longer supported and that it’s supposed to obvious in your landing page.

Problem with Channel 4 for the last few days. Pretty well unwatchable. Dialogue is being repeated twice, which means you miss the next part of the dialogue and then it jumps, to catch up.
