Excellent company!!! The staff and students are amazing. The staff are very helpful and friendly, which makes working here very easy and enjoyable. I can’t compliment the company enough. ☺️☺️☺️

From the application to the onboarding process, it was pretty smooth and I had help the whole way. They're very prompt at replying to queries and we can easily start working in a matter of days. There's no shortage of classes. We can work as much or as little as we want. Overall, it's a wonderful company to work for. Pay is decent and it can be improved over time.

Suggestions: bonus incentives for getting good ratings ( 4 or 5 star). For each 4 or 5-star, the teacher can get some extra money added at the end of the month. I've worked on other platforms and it's great to have these incentives which keep us motivated to perform our best every day. For example, no cancellations/absences in a given pay period, 5-star ratings, etc. can be rewarded with extra euro(s) at the company's discretion.

Also, different materials need to be introduced, like daily news articles, pronunciation courses, geography/world tour, etc. can be added to add variety to course material.

Don't bother applying, it's a waste of time !
Another scam company looking to exploit in the current grim job market. I've got masters degree, fluency better than any - got declined still. Wouldn't trust them on getting paid either.

Started with Twenix around April this year and planning to stay here! During my job hunting, I searched and read hundreds of reviews about all possible ESL companies existing online, and what bought my mind is the complete flexibility this platform is offering. I submitted my application through the official Twenix site, received an email 7 days later, with clear instructions about the selection process. The first round was making two short videos with provided scenarios; the second was supposed to be an official interview. Tip: When you get your script, pay attention to the details, focus on the personality of an imaginary student. I sent them my videos (which I thought were goofy since I was talking with myself and laughing all the time :D) but they loved this kind of energy, so we actually skipped the interview and proceeded directly to the onboarding process. That was easy-peasy because they give you an excellent guide on a live webinar, we asked 100 questions, all were answered. My first few classes were a bit clumsy (I think), but now you have sample videos of real classes, so examine and observe. 
Again, flexibility is my primary satisfaction here; you can work when you want, transfer your classes so quickly, and even when a student cancels the class with you, they will surely find another one to fill your slot. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't find this kind of organization in any ESL school. Also, you get your salary with Swiss precision.
I saw some comments about the topics, and I don't understand these complaints; they literally say We are looking for a BUSINESS English teacher. If you don't know anything about that - what do you expect? And even if you don't know anything about SCRUM methodology, use damn ChatGPT, YT or something; you can learn it and prepare it in 2 minutes. I do it sometimes while my students introduce themselves and have a two-minute small talk at the beginning of the class, if I didn't have the time to do it before the class.
99,9% of all students are pleasant and approachable, if you know how to work with people - you will enjoy every class. Had different cases with them; some students were in the middle of a divorce, some just got fired, some lost their loved one, some were just having a bad day and minor mental breakdown, so be ready for all that, show some empathy and listen. I was there for them, since every professional teacher knows that you need to be a therapist from time to time, which shouldn't be hard.
Everybody on the support team is friendly and helpful; you will not get an automated generalized response. Connect with other tweachers and staff (I do it on LinkedIn), they will support you. Every week you have these relaxing coffee meetings to build connections between teachers and staff from Twenix, but I'm an anxious person, so I haven't had the courage to try it yet :monkeywithhandsovereyesemoji: 
The second best thing for me is that they constantly upgrade and elevate. Almost every month you will find something new and helpful, with funny newsletters and explanations.
Of course, salary can always be better, but I believe that they work in this field too. ❤️

I've been working with Twenix for 2 years now. The material and choice of topics for the students is great. The students are eager to learn and improve their English. Easy to use calendar, plenty of lessons and and easy method to cancel classes in advance if needed. A great company to work for

I am absolutely amazed at the feedback from some of the teachers who have worked at Twenix or have not made it through the interview stage. I found the interview process easy and fair. Also, they do respect academic and professional qualifications - I hold an MA(Dist)., BA(Hons), and a Level 5 TEFL qualification. The salary is competitive although an increase would always be appreciated! The staff are always contactable and do respond which I know is not the case with many TEFL sites. Most of all, the calendar is flexible and you are able to teach as many lessons as you wish. If you are considering working for Twenix, I am an existing teacher who has worked with the company for just over a year, and I will not be leaving any time soon. I have recommended Twenix to friends and I would suggest giving it a go. In summary, they are a great company to work for.

It's been a great experience so far!

I am a professional ESL teacher, and I got rejected after sending in my videos...What can I say! Based on the script they sent me to create my video from, it is extremely unprofessional! Hello! You don't pretend to teach a lesson talking to a camera in the first place! It contradicts any rule for teaching ESL, or any other subject! Pay sounds ridiculous! So, I realized that they don't even respect degrees, professionalism, rules and methods of teaching ESL...scam...don't waste your time!

A very professional company, payment always on time, frequent newsletters to give tips on your working day, plenty of last minute classes. The most amazing thing is FLEXIBILITY! No minimum hours, you can work whenever you want, even the booked classes could be easily transferred to other teachers in case of emergency and you don't get penalized! Keep it up Twenix! 💜

Working with Twenix has been a real blessing for me, especially during challenging times. As a Business English teacher with considerable experience, I found that my profile perfectly aligned with what Twenix was looking for. The best part has been the wide range of fascinating topics I get to cover, from business and IT to employability, technology, and even more casual subjects like family, friends, and shopping. Engaging in these conversations has been an absolute joy, and I feel like I'm on a wonderful journey.

One thing I truly appreciate is the diversity among my students. I currently work for Twenix. Before I joined the platform I had read all the reviews that I could lay my hands on. However, because I have a " don't knock it till you try it" motivation for life I decided to join. I have to say that the platform is pretty good. I have gotten help when I needed it from staff at Twenix and I love how flexible it is as a platform.

I agree that not everyone will have the same experience when trying a product or service but my experience so far has been pretty awesome. I have met some students who have been having bad days and brought that energy to the class, but I understand that as humans sometimes practicing empathy towards other people can go a long way. The platform offers easy topics to cover for 26 minutes and if you are great at your job of being an ESL teacher they are topics that are pretty easy to maneuver.

This platform is a time waster. The pay is very low and teachers are not only expected to prepare for each class prior to earning the 6 euros online per class but also prior to the class teachers, must learn the online course being provided by twenix , which includes classes on "scrum methodology" Business Marketing and not just English ESL all of which the teacher must learn before it and study links in advance and additionally submit a detailed review. Honestly its a waste of valuable time.

Low pay, no support from the staff or the teacher care team, students have all the rights but no obligations which is vice versa for you as a teacher, your degree and years of experience and certifications (TESOL, TEFL, ETC) have no value to them, booking could be better, VERY strict criteria for you, for eg. if your rating is lower than 4.7 (!), you get terminated, no second chance. I've worked for better schools and I'm certified, and I can tell you you don;t want to waste your time here. Also, beware the fake high ratings, it's their staff writing them.

Very low pay, beneath any level for a European company. Very strict rating system (if your rating falls below 4.7 you get fired). Many students rate you negatively for no reason (or if you correct them when they repeatedly make the same mistake, they get angry) and the support is never on your side.

I started working at Twenix in April 2022, and so far, I have had the most incredible journey throughout my online teaching experience. The staff are very engaging, helpful, supportive and most importantly keep us up-to-date with information regarding the company. The staff are always willing to help if you have any technical issues or concerns. They also constantly encourage us to attend weekly meetings to help further the learning and teaching experience of the student and teachers. I love that ever since I started working alongside Twenix, I have met lovely, polite and respectful students and built great friendships. Twenix offers the flexibility of schedules, freedom, support and guidance! I am proud to be a Tweacher !!! 😊🤩

Flexible work schedule and fun classes. I would definitely recommend it. (10/10 )

Pros: flexible timetable, you choose when to work; no prep, material is ready to use

Cons: terrible pay, lower than minimum wage; no support for teachers if there are problems of any kind; no prep, you get what you get! Students can cancel with no charge within 2 hours of a class, so you plan your day around it, get a cancellation, and don't even get paid! Site does not work from a mobile phone or tablet.

Don't let this be your main job, it'll never pay the bills if you live in Europe! But nice as a side job to get some pocket money while chatting away... That's it.

The quality of students, content, and methodology here is hands down FANTASTIC! The complete flexibility of the schedule is a huge bonus as well. The platform runs smoothly and the recently added video classes are fun for both me and the student. ABSOLUTELY the best online teaching platform I have experienced!

I have been working for twenix for almost two months and I am very happy with my experience so far. Although the pay is relatively low (6 euro per thirty minutes), there is no preparation as the company provides all the materials, nor iis there any marking or admin to do. Additionally, there are bonuses (e.g. if you complete 40 lessons in a month you get an extra 60 euro).

The form of teaching is great - having conversations with very interesting and engaged students on a variety of topics.

The flexibility is perfect - you can open slots whenever you want and close them with relatively short notice if you have a problem. As I have a lot of family responsibilities I appreciate this. The onboarding process was also quick and easy (about 7-10 days in total).

I deducted a star because it would have been useful in the onboarding process to get to watch a session or two of an experienced teacher at work, as this is a very different method of teaching for me. There is a training session but a demo would have been more useful. Similarly it would be nice to get a full induction on the company - there was very little information given about what goes on in the business, and I was surprised to learn from students that the company also provides a suite of reading and grammar exerices in addition to the 1-2-1 speaking sessions which we deliver

Twenix is by far the most amazing company I have worked for. The ability to be able to control my own schedule is what made this platform so attractive to me. The culture of this company resonates with me, a culture of team spirit, humanity, care and reward.
