Stay at glamping pods

We stayed in the glamping pod last week which had 2 days worth of theme park entry included. Very good stay and service. Perfect for family with young kids. Good value for money aswell. My 3 kids (2 with autism) really enjoyed and loved the rides and farm animals. Highly recommend

What a fantastic little theme park

What a fantastic little theme park!
We have children aged 2 & 4 one being 90cm the other being 117cm. Normally when we go to theme parks we find there isn’t an awful lot to go on for the youngest and she gets bored on the ‘baby rides’
But they managed to get on a lot of rides with an adult which we didn’t mind!!
Our 4 year old could practically go on everything which he absolutely loved and made him feel like a ‘big boy’ but gave mommy a heart attack going on some of the scarier rides, the longest time we waited for a ride was 15 minutes which if you’re used to going to places like Alton towers you’ll know that’s nothing!
We arrived at 10:30 and left at 4:30 the only thing we didn’t do was the water park, as we thought it was a splash pad but it actually has water slides and we didn’t pack for grown up.
Found the food pricing quite cheap kids lunch box was £5.99.
Overall a fantastic day out with lots of laughter and very little meltdowns!
Highly recommend!

Great place for the little ones

What a great place for the little ones. We stayed in the Glamping pod for a couple of days and had a great time. I would definitely recommend Twinlakes to any one with children under 12 years old and I would definitely go back.

Twin Lakes Family Day Out

We had an amazing day at Twin Lakes! There’s so much to do for all ages, from fun rides to indoor play areas and even animal encounters. The park is really well-kept, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Everything felt really well-organized, and there was plenty to keep us entertained, no matter the weather. A great place for a fun family day out!

Most staff are teenagers.most don't…

Most staff are teenagers.most don't look what is going on on the ride when started just looking down you can tell they don't wont to been thire. Need more training in customer service.
Old chap was on excalibur brilliant 10/10 telling people not to use phones looking up at the ride all the time. Unlike the younger staff who don't even see the people using phones.lots more training more older people in charge guys.staff need managing.

Lovely park

Lovely park, been coming here for years. Staff were helpful and our children just love the good old fashioned vibe. Season tickets are well worth the money, it’s kept our children entertained year after year. We have so far enjoyed the annual events Twinlakes put on.

Filthy, dirty, waste of money

Filthy, dirty, horrible experience. There is zero hygiene here, the toilets look like they haven't been cleaned in years. I was disgusted having to let my child use the facilities. All money taking and not a care seems to be had for the customers experience. Extremely poor customer service. The staff made comments about not having any authority supervisors around and the vast majority being at the absolute minimum wage age. I've been to a few organised events and not been overly impressed but this was definitely the last time I will spend any money here!

I was just about to take my children…

I was just about to take my children here today.
As a black person I will be avoiding it at all costs after reading that review.
My children haven't experienced any racism yet, today will not be the day.
Very sad to hear this as they received vouchers from school and were looking forward to it. To think it's the staff members aswell, they should be fired.

Racial discrimination

I’ve been going to Twin Lakes for many years, not just me. many of my family and friends we organised to go yesterday evening 25/10/24 never had any issues at twin lakes always enjoyed and recommended to all my friends and family and 4 people in our group were there first time after hearing good things from me about it and you can imagine my horror/shock standing in the queue to enter we were racially abused and racially profiled by staff of twin lakes I was so embarrassed and didn’t know what to do one of our group asked why staff had said what they said they wouldn’t dicuss it but then followed us around and continued to make racist comments within earshot ruined our evening and ruined my experience at twin lakes as we were leaving there was staff waiting for us give credit where it’s due one of the staff apologised and said it shouldn’t have been said, coming from an ethnic minority/ protected characteristic and knowing a little bit about equality issues as my father is a diversity/ equality officer he’s outraged and wants to take it further as do other members of my party who were there as for me I’m just disgusted that in 2024 with racism being in the news so much that this can still happen this is just few of the things that was said “ careful we have got group of xxxxxx coming in “ “ should of all been exterminated in the war” “ keep eye on this type “ my parents are fuming over the war comments the most having had family killed during. We were also approached in the car park by people that heard what was being said and actually started recording it because they too were disgusted.

Xtream scream

Went on Saturday night and was disappointed not enough actors hardly any scares, I went last year and it was brilliant. Also my group brought dounuts for £6.50, for 5 and they weren't cooked after waiting 40mins in a que for them. And all they said was we can't see the inside of a dounut to know if it's cooked. The new scare attraction they had this year was good the German vampire lady was brilliant. Unfortunately after spending a small fortune I won't return next year

Birthday treat for grandson

I understand we visited 'off peak' on Saturday 14th Sept but the lack of staff was ridiculous. The staff we did see all looked like they didn't want to be there. One member of staff was running the roller coaster.
Only 2 pedal carts were available and one of those was broken.
Won't be returning in a hurry

*BASED ON FIREWORKS EVENT 2019

*BASED ON FIREWORKS EVENT 2019
As for as theme parks go, this was disappointing. Average fireworks, music coordination all wrong, delays. Very poor!!! Decided to try Twinlakes for the first time and had a good day until the climax of the evening turned into a anti climax. Getting out the car park was shocking. Over an hour to get out. Who was supposed to be organising the traffic out????
