My card has been hacked and someone is using it as I can see transactions on my account which I did not do. I immediately messaged Tymit via the app and no one got back to me. It has been over a week now. Again I can see other transactions on my account again and I have messaged Tymit again via the app. I have also emailed the support email address too. I also left a message and Had no call back or email. Someone needs to sort all this out . I have locked my card but this is causing me issues as I need the card to make purchases . Please can someone reply to me asap and resolve my query.
Someone from the team emailed me on 13/5/23 and I provided the additional information. I have not heard anything since that day. Please can someone look into this as soon as possible
I’m changing my experience raising to 4 as my query has been resolve on 18/05/2023

Over 2 weeks ago on 23rd of April I reported two fraudulent unauthorized payments on my Tymit card, in every way available to me (email, messages on the transactions within the app and leaving a voicemail on the number provided on the back of the card).
It took Tymit over 48 hours(!) to get back to me and block my card, by which time my card had been nearly maxed out with over £700 of fraudulent unauthorized transactions.
It then took another 48 hours to be transferred to the disputes department, who sent me one email, to which I responded straight away, and who have now told me nothing since the 27th April, despite me sending them numerous further emails.
This whole process has been so UNBELIEVABLY SLOW and upsetting. My bill is now due today with hundreds of pounds of fraudulent transactions on it and I still cannot get a reply out of Tymit with regards to what I am supposed to do with my bill and where I stand with my claim.
This level of communication and customer service for a modern financial firm is appalling. AVOID!!!
And they now eventually reply, on the 11th May after 14 days!!! refusing to refund ANY of the stolen money because I provided scammers who were claiming to be Tymit (and who I completely believed to be Tymit given I'd had absolutely no other response from you!) with an SMS code which included ‘’We will never ask you to share this code.’’
Those scammers rang me 24 hours after I had informed Tymit of the first fraudulent transactions. It then took Tymit ANOTHER 24 hours to reply to me (on a Tuesday at 12:20, when your office hours are MONDAY to Friday 9am-6pm!) and cancel the card, then telling me not to answer any calls claiming to be from them.
If it hadn't taken Tymit over 48 hours to block the card and reply to me after my telling you there were fraudulent transactions on the account, then the stolen amount would have been under £45 as opposed to over £740!!!.
And I have been a good, reliable, loyal customer of yours' for years! I'll never use your services again, I'll be warning everyone I can about how appalling Tymit have been in every possible way and I'll be contacting the financial ombudsman. Thank-you for absolutely nothing. I cannot reiterate strongly enough, AVOID!!!!!!!!!

Easy to deal with. My bank, Barclays, have been useless in issuing me a credit card with a useful credit limit despite me being well funded. Tymit was totally the opposite. Recommended!!

I recently had an issue with Tymit that left me feeling very disappointed. Their system showed the wrong balance (I get it, it can happen)
, which resulted in me overpaying and receiving a credit on my account that needed to be refunded. Although I contacted Tymit on Tuesday, I have not received a response, despite their claim to typically reply within 24 hours. Waiting for several days for a response from a financial company is unacceptable, and it has made me reconsider my trust in Tymit. I hope they improve their customer service and communication to prevent similar situations from happening in the future.

Use extreme caution , no telephone support , other than lost or stolen. When you contact via email , the response is waiting time is 5 days .
I completed a balance tfr from NatWest to pay a bill 11 days later it’s still not showing . ( Natwest confirmed the money was sent safely)
If you pay off your account early, there is also no refund of interest.
Plenty of other companies now doing by now pay later scheme Exactly the same as this company, for example, virgin slice, who, at least at a company you have heard of, and answer the phone if there was a query!

Absolutely disgusting service and company, you have caused my loved one amongst others out there alot of stress and panick because they received a email to say they owe you alot of money and to pay within 7 days , after they have paid it all on time and early with all the proof . Yet pple can only email you then find out you have a technical error over the bank holiday! WHY DIDNT YOU JUST EMAIL EVERYONE OR SEND A MSG ON THE APP AND LETTERS OUT TO WARN PEOPLE OF THE TECHNICAL ISSUES AND NOT TO WORRY!!!!!!! BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!! NOT EVEN A CONTACT NUMBER TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE.
AVOID AVOID AVOID !
Edit :
You proactively communicated ?! Really?! Why are you lying for . If that was the case he would not of had a serious panick attack!!!!! You did not send any communication out . It was only when I advised him to email the company that he then found out !!

Sent these guys an email saying my payment was scammed and, guess what, they couldn't be bothered to respond. Dreadful company and my advice is to avoid at all cost.

A fantastic service, with a let-down experience.
With no explanation provided or advanced warning my account was closed, first time in my life I have ever had a creditor close 'based on a review'.
I've improved my credit rating, getting paid more by my employer and finding myself in a better credit position than I previously was, haven't missed a payment in years, used their instalment feature as they had suggested/intended.
When I enquired for more details, I was declined this and was given a generic copy/paste response regarding how to pay towards my account.
Such a let-down for what was otherwise a great experience.

The customer service was alright and problem was solved ,money return back to my account same day and statements which I asked was sent to me.Quite happy with service. Would be nice maybe for the future have an option to download statements from the app.

Relatively quick to open an account, love that you can spread the cost over 3 months with no interest. So far very please.

Appalling company run by a couple of Schuster's, no customer service and outrageous APR, they may offer 3 monthly payments but I doubt many do that. Charline useless, if you message them they say they're going to get back to you, well that never happened either. My advice, stay well clear

I’ve had this credit card since they started and never had any problems that weren’t sorted within a reasonable timescale, I love the fact I can make a purchase and spread it over 3 months with no interest. For this works!

I signed up to Tymit to build my credit as they had a secured credit card option for a monthly fee.
The main reason was to build credit and
I needed a credit card for my holiday (car hire, hotel etc) in November 2023.
Tymit ended booster without consultation with customer’s and I don’t understand why?. I have had my score damaged (account wasn’t very old) I have had no use out of the card (the reason I took it out)
I have put a complaint in #202934 where hopefully you can address this and maybe elaborate further why you booster members could’t have just reminded members! And if you planned to end it why damage scores taking on new applications

Useless shambolic amateurish company. Avoid.
Their reply below is absolutely typical of them. They treat their customers like cr*p but pretend to be professional and business-like. They're not. Don't fall for it.

Useless stay away. I’ve been waiting for weeks for my account to be closed. There are lots of good credit cards out there don’t go near Tymit as they are incompetent. Stay away

Be very wary of this company. They show zero to pay in the app so I do t pay them close my account as I havent paid and report me as in default totally destroying my credit score.

Absolutely appalling company and card. Started well in July 2021. Got 2K limit. Happily used the card. Made lots of purchases but always paid within 3 months. Never had paid a single penny in interest. For some weird unknown reason they reduced limit to 1K this year. Then a couple of months further reduced further to £700 and only a week ago closed the account. Unbelievable. In the meantime I have no issues on Experian. Haven’t missed a single payment on any credit commitment for over three years. No idea what criteria they are using. I can only assume that they have funding issues and as per other reviews, have started curtailing limits and accounts since last year. Just look at the 1 star reviews since 2022. There are hardly any in 2021. Something is fishy with this company. Best to avoid and not fall for the gibberish spewed from their company media accounts. There are many more BNPL companies out there which are hundreds times better. Use them rather this drivel from Tymit. Just a huge disappointment and a complete let down. A big thumbs down from me. Avoid Tymit to avoid disappointment and let down.
