Online purchase. No confirmation

Purchased Tyre online to be fitted at a local ultratune store. Car was booked in for a particular day and time and all was paid for. At no time did I receive a confirmation email from either tyreright or ultratune confirming either Tyre purchase or fitting appt. On arrival at ultratune they had no idea about the appt as they had also not received an email or anything else booking the vehicle in to have the Tyre fitted. It was time consuming for them to make phone calls and figure out what had happened. Ultimately they fitted the Tyre for us but I would have to reconsider using tyreright online again due to their lack of administration.

I paid for my tyres in full and booked…

I paid for my tyres in full and booked an appointment with Oakey TyreRight last Tuesday. I was only informed on Tues morning that my tyres have not been delivered. To date I have not received any update as to when my tyres, which I have paid in full, will arrive. In the meantime I am forced to drive with two unroadworthy front tyres. I have no issues with the guys at Oakey. It is the back end online store that has disappointed me by selling tyres that were not in stock. Yes you said it’s due to delivery issues but such a long delay from Sydney to Oakey cannot be delivery issues.

Staff were actually very good

Staff were actually very good. My issue is that when I got to the store there was no record of my appointment, nor was there a confirmation that the tires were in store. Turned out that the information had not been properly communicated as my order was confirmed online. In addition one of my tires was worn only on the outer wall and an adjustment may need to be made to the caravan however the Tyreright staff couldn't rectify the issue nor guarantee the wearing of the new tire would not happen again.

I purchased online on 4th June...

I purchased online on the 4th June and selected a date and time from the available selection for fitting at local centre. When I went for fitting, the place was closed due to public holiday. Contacted both tyreright and local service centre the following morning. Local place said tyres had not yet arrived and that they had tried to contact the relevant person at tyreright three times that morning without success. I sent both online contact message to tyreright as well as phone contact. I was told the man who dealt with online orders was on the phone and she would get him to return my call. I am still waiting.

Unfortunately the online appointments do not have a rescheduling option and, since it required prepayment, I am unsure what will happen since nobody seems keen to return my call.

*BURNIE TYRE RIGHT*

Went in for new tyres all round and a wheel alignment. Upon collection of my vehicle, the owner stated that he couldn’t do a wheel alignment as my CV’s or wheel bearings were rooted, but this was not true. We got a second (and third) confirmation by other mechanics that this certainly was not the issue. When I left Tyre Right ( Burnie ) I could feel the wheels shaking so much that I couldn’t drive over 95k p/h. This was NOT happening before taking it in. One of the front tyre covers also weren’t put back on properly, causing it to come off while driving 80k per hour.

Overall really bad experience with Burnie tyre right. I couldn’t possibly NOT recommend them enough.
