Keep away from Uber

I would not give one star but unless I do I can’t do the review. Keep well away was robbed point blank . Never delivered my food called up to be told I’m not getting a refund. They don’t care and to top it all absolutely rude . Keep well away.

Uber eats never again in my life

Uber eats never again in my life. Pumping out money and nothing more, you essentially pay for trying to deliver your order, it seems to me that the couriers don’t even move, they took the order and sit there eating it, and you pay for it.

When food orders are delivered wrong they refuse to refund and even deny me having ordered!

Horrific scam please be aware

Horrific scam please be aware . I did order some food and the food never arrived, they lie to me that the driver tried contact me by phone multiple times but he didn’t tried even once . I did ask them for proof that the driver was near my door (picture, video , tracking map, history of missed call ) of course they did ignore my request. The customer service refuse give me a refund and l had to contact my bank. its(obviously scam)I’m disgusted how the customer service tried to gaslighting and manipulate me by constantly lied to me for over 3 hours and my anxiety was crippling . The more funny is that l was seating in my living room near to huge window and waiting for my food and there somewhere the driver probably eat my food . Absolutely the most shocking experience . I hope Uber will read that ! Only for 20£ order shame on you Uber.

First time using uber ride, booked in advance for a meeting early morning. No car came.did not get to my meeting, feel quite concerned if someone pre books needing to get to an appointment, meeting or emergency hospital ect. Rethink your choice off transport. Had to chase a refund even though I car did not come. BAD EXPERIENCE.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company. Ordered online groceries, meticulously went through stating REFUND NOT REPLACEMENT. Sent lots of things not ordered, also full items missing. Uber refused to refund me based on the fact they had to refund me for a previous order (exactly the same issues first time around). Absolute waste of money as they will just send you what they like and charge you what they like. DO NOT use this company.

Once they have your money they don’t care

Ordering food: the drivers keep cancelling, they won’t let you cancel the order, you have to go through so much just to get your money back. When they do deliver, it’s cold because they’ve messed around with the food having been ready for ages prior to collection, then they blame the restaurant for cold food and take your money anyway.

Sometimes I need groceries and they never have what goes with anything else, so you end up with a useless overpriced shop. Sometimes they give you the same date products/ manky bruised fruit nobody else would buy and it’s more expensive. When you call restaurants they are often rude, as face to face customers paying less seem to be more important.

The chips from orders have often arrived half full, with grease marks at the top of the box (McDonald’s) so you can see there were chips there, or things are completely missing meaning you don’t have a full meal and you only get a partial refund so you’ve wasted money on the fees and delivery and paid more than what you would if you went to the restaurant and ate, as well as having your time wasted and half a meal.

The app states delivery times which never match the actual times.

I’ve had times where the order hasn’t even been delivered and they still took the money.

I’ve also been offered vouchers for late deliveries that don’t work when you go to use them.

Cabs… the searching for a driver after taking your money is out of order. They say pay this price if you want a cab within 3 mins but then you pay and the time goes on and on searching for a driver and you can’t get your money back.

I’ve had a driver refuse to take myself and my partner due to our race. My partner being Greek and myself as a black woman. As soon as we got in he refused to take us and told us to get another cab. We argued that this is not right and he has taken our money, it was the middle of the night and we had waited ages. He couldn’t give us one reason as to why, just saw us and refused to drive us. Uber didn’t care.

There have been nice Uber drivers and quick deliveries but I feel most of the time it’s a hassle. I deleted the app fir ages and used it again within the last two days and both experiences were stressful… drivers cancelling repeatedly and half your shopping delivered that you ordered

Ordered via McDonalds app. Tracked food delivery, food not delivered yet Uber eats says it was delivered. They say they contacted me but they didn’t I have proof I tried to call them 5 times and text but got bounce back messages and recorded message when ringing. Rang uber eats customer service they were unhelpful to say the least- Normad!!
Unable to get refund ! Or find out where the food is….said they had followed guidelines … rubbish!!!

Uber driver

I normally get Ubers and it’s fine , sometimes can be abit fast on roads, but it’s fine, today I book a Uber at 4.40 pm , the Uber was in SAME area as me, and rather then going quickest way, he decided to go LONG way to get to me as in 10 miles, which made my wait 8 minutes , that’s fine to then come back round again,to finally get to me, im late as it is, I wave at him; he IGNORES me drives off into another town and does not cancel? I rang him about 3 times and he did not pick up, I’ve now waited 40 minutes for this silly Uber man “Islam”, I try cancel but as the Uber accepted my ride, I had to pay £6 cancellation fee for something that was not my fault, but the silly drivers , which obviously is a trick to scam people and take there money. Absolutely disgusting,

A Great Farse and Run by Morons!

Uber is the despicable joke of the century! It should not be running a business because there was zero, professionalism making a complaint against one of its drivers and its incompetency, accordingly to make an intelligent judgment. A driver who picks up the job but…

Lazy driver and ?scammer and good hacker:
A driver who picks up the job but doesn’t move for one hour but will keep updating your Uber apps that he will arrive with 21 minutes then became 18 minutes to 11 minutes then back to 21 minutes as if he’s manipulating it waiting for the customer to cancel it so that the customer will be charge and driver will be paid without turning up and by moving at all. It’s Sunday and there’s no traffic at all by that time. The worst thing is that this Uber driver did it also to my husband before, the same pattern and technique. I screenshot shot it with the driver’s name and vehicle registration. I texted and phoned him many times but his mobile is off. When I phoned the Uber customer service, that driver’s name and the time that he picks up the job never appeared in the Uber system, that driver is a good hacker for the Uber company not to see what he is doing. I told the Uber customer service that the driver could have decided to cancel the job if he had a headache, or needs to go to the toilet or for whatever reason but that driver waited for one hour and without a trace of his doing. The driver has a moral obligation to the customer and company to cancel if they couldn’t do the job and not by scamming the customers.

Can’t stand Uber or Ubereats

Can’t stand Uber or Ubereats. It’s always an unpleasant horrific experience. Haven’t used them since my Mcdelivery never arrived and they refused to refund me. Like how is your supposed “helpline” this unhelpful. Are you not making enough money that you feel the need to steal from your customers.

Look at this page. It’s filled with complaints and unhappy customers. Funny thing is I never get this issue with Deliveroo or JustEat. It’s always Uber!!!

Also, I was told by someone who previously worked for them that drivers sometimes pretend to deliver the food but eat it themselves 🫤

Please go out of business already 🙄

Uber became nightmare for drivers and its terrible company 😡😡😡they blocked my account in the past 3 weeks just because I got hire Vehicle for a couple of Days while my own Vehicle at Garage for some small bumper repaint and I got back my vehicle a week ago and I informed Uber I got back my own vehicle after I poke with 2 people and the end told me someone call as soon as possible regarding your vehicle…but it was a week ago and still no one call me yet and they treat driver like slave …..I feel sick of this Disgusting company

Unreliable, Get a black cab instead. Its cheaper

Terrible business practices. Drivers routinely cancel multiple times In succession, often several minutes after ride is accepted. Also commonly have the car stop so far away that i dont have time to get there before the fair is cancelled and im charged a cancellation fee. Ive missed meetings, trains, planes and even lost work because of them.They charge whatever they want whenever they want and are completely unreliable.
