I hadn't heard of this company before but they had hope brakes at a very competative price. Didn't pay extra for next day delivery but ordered Friday afternoon and the brakes arrived, well packed, on Monday morning - Excellent service!
Good service and no surprises
Recently received some Hope Tech 3 brakes for a great price to the US. Total time from ordering to receipt of items was less than two weeks, even after receiving an email that shipping would be delayed. I experienced prompt email responses, packaging was original factory, and didn't get hit with any unexpected duties. Couldn't be happier with the experience. I will buy from them again in the near future.
UBYK - Great Service, Great Staff, Great Communication
I would highly recommend purchasing a bike these guys. The service was fantastic, the staff were professional and knew what they were talking about. Communication was fantastic. UBYK built my Juliana Joplin and it looks stunning, the staff took the time to go through everthing with me. I have purchased some bikes in my time from Orange Sub 5, Orange Patriot, Orange Crush, Kona Stinky and I have never come across such a bunch of helpful staff. Thank You So Much
Great service and expertise
Great service and expertise! After a break from mountain biking I decided to get back into it and brought a high spec Orange Five in 2016, randomly from Ubyk. The service was great and its fair to say I ‘got the bug’ back for biking, so much so that I recently ordered a custom built Yeti SB6 to start racing Enduro. The knowledge and guidance involved in spec’in the bike was fantastic. It was also really cool working directly with the bike mechanic during the build to make sure it was set up for me. The ‘beast from the east’ snow storm delayed delivery for some of the ore components which delayed the bike but Ubyk bent over backwards trying to get everything done in time - can’t ask much more than that.
UBYK and Hope Hoops
To be honest I'd never heard of this company before placing an order. I was in the market for a new set of mountain bike wheels and UBYK popped up on google with a very good price. Studied the site and was pleasantly surprised . I had a few queries ref to Axle spacers supplied, boost or non boost so emailed the contact address. Richard Moir (sales manager) replied same day within 2 hours.I had yet another couple of queries where I received a follow up reply within 1/2 hour. Satisfied all was good I placed an order on Tuesday 6th of March at 15.15 hours. Being in Aberdeenshire (usually incurs a delay in delivery) I had hoped to receive them the following week . To my surprise these wheels (Hope Hoops) arrived early Friday morning 9th March, exactly as described and with QR and 12mm through axle spacers(other companies were charging extra for these). I ordered these wheels based on best price(let's be honest who doesn't) THEN decided to google the company where a number of reviews had me concerned. I can only comment on my own dealings but have to say I honestly can't fault their service,delivery, replies or end product..Will i buy again - Absolutely, would I recommend - Absolutely. ...This is obviously just my opinion but as with most reviews you have to take a balanced view on all of the comments and not necessarily focus on the negative, thanks and hope this review helps others, cheers, Keith

After reading the reviews hear I was still a little wear about placing an order with them. I can't speak for anyone else, but mine was shipped out relatively quickly (within 4-5 business days, possibly sooner since i'm not in the same continent and my bank slowed me down). It shipped the UK on the 19th and I received it in the US on the 26th. I reached out to them and I received good communication, one thing that messed me up a tad though was that emails from them went straight to my spam box.. so if you order with them it's good to check. Anyhow, their pricing was the best for the item I ordered and I would definitely order from them again.
Custom built mountain bike
Just wanted to thank the team and to recommend Ubyk for anyone looking to buy a custom built mountain bike. I understood, by its nature, that it would take a little while to source all the parts. The team at Ubyk did a great job at both making sure I was buying the right parts for what I wanted, and managing my expectations. I did still pester them, but they always treated me with the upmost of respect. Bravo.
Ordered some sweet Race Face pedals …
Ordered some sweet Race Face pedals from these guys after seeing them out of stock from Oz sites. They despatched my order same day. I ordered it close to Xmas so delivery took almost 3 weeks. The after sales support were quick to respond and very helpful with my follow-up on the order. I will definitely order from them again.

It has taken me some time to get around to writing this review but that seems perfectly apt when writing about the service of UBYK.
In short; 2 custom Santa Cruz bikes ordered - £11,000 worth. Multiple issues with both bikes, delays, wrong parts ordered, wrong sizes ordered, misinformation of parts eta, misinformation on frame eta, basically very little communication.
You will have the same issues as we did because the company simply are not staffed to deal with the orders. Of the staff present, attitude is poor to say the least and you will have to chase and chase and chase until you finally get some actions. Don't let the glitzy website fool you, behind the scenes are a team that really do not have the customers best interest at heart.
Richard Moir being key to this should really read some of the reviews on here and make some changes. If there are issues with an order simple let the customer know in a clear and concise manor, do not make us call you...
This experience should have been fantastic, but it tuned out being a hellish one!
Please please whatever you do, buy elsewhere!!!!

A trustworthy shop.
I'd never heard of these guys before but they had what I wanted, a Genetic carbon saddle, and it was the cheapest anywhere. Took the plunge and paid extra for next day guaranteed delivery. I was not disappointed. Excellent product, prompt despatch and great communications. These guys are now on my list of trusted shops. Many thanks Graham.

A year or so ago I bought some pedals from these guys. I was local to oxford so popped in to collect. Great service and great price.
I recently (April) bought a Brand-X dropper post and again great service and great price. I also wanted the dropper actuator lever for those of us still using a front derailleur. I emailed (or phoned can’t remember) as the part wasn’t on their site. They got it in for me and price matched. I’ve seen the other reviews which is a shame. Never had a problem getting through, have visited the physical shop in oxford and received my orders without any issues.

Same story as many before me
Same story as many before me, ordered an item listed as in stock when it isn’t, currently being fed lie after lie by various monotone telephone answering drones. It’s leaving today, it’s coming to us tomorrow we have a delivery from the depot Thursday. All b@££@[%§ I’m afraid. Unfortunately what I’m after is £65 cheaper and I’m desperate for the part so have no choice but to wait.

Bad: It takes ages for anything to arrive, you need to get your orders out in a more timely fashion!
I had ordered something previously which, having added to basket and paid, I was emailed several days later to say it was not in stock. - your website needs to be honest and up to date with what is or is not in stock so we do not waste our time waiting for things that are never going to arrive.
Good: I had a query with my order which was dealt with in a very prompt way by Richard Moir, he was very polite and helpful.
