We recently had UCS install 20 solar panels, an inverter and 2 batteries. I researched many companies before deciding to go with UCS. I also got 6 different quotes. There was a delay to the start of the process due to some DNO technicalities but UCS apologised for this. The install itself was so quick and professional. Scaffold up on the wed, install done on the thur and Fri and scaffold down on the Mon. Paul installing the panels , Tom the electrician and their lads were very friendly and professional. Amanda managed our quote and responded to my many many questions and Alistair did the site survey and helped us with explaining what would happen and when. Their work is to a very high standard and I am more than happy to recommend this company to anyone thinking of having a solar installation.

After trying to get estimates for solar system without site visit ucs renewables were the only company to quote me and much cheaper than the people who had to site visit. They then came and checked, quote remained same with no hard sale. Date planned and in and out in 2 days complete. System registered and set up day 3 and all operational. Can’t fault the entire experience

Excellent installation of our 4kw Solar PV install.
On site communication great.Also communication via email ok as well.
Prepare to stay with installers as they need access to loft spaces etc.But very polite and professional installers of solar and bird guard installers.Always fit a bird guard on your solar system as Pigeons can do untold damage.We also had two Tesla batteries installed and again the same professional and polite attitude and can highly recommend them! Thanks UCS!

Professional team of guys carried out the installation of additional solar panels and a Tesla storage battery. Very polite, answered questions and explained actions. All areas left very tidy, good neat job. Responded with a prompt visit, post installation, following my query in respect of the settings and correct workings of previously installed iBoost system. Excellent, highly recommended company.

Brilliant company to deal with - friendly, professional, extremely competent, and keen to deliver the exact solution and spec required (although that sounds obvious, out of all the renewable companies that quoted for the work, UCS was the only one willing to provide the equipment requested, and designed a fantastic solution). Specifically, I requested a solar array using SunPower panels, an SMA inverter, double Tesla Powerwall 2 battery storage and - most importantly - full, automatic off-grid capability in the event of a power cut (we live in an area prone to this). UCS engineered this around the Tesla Gateway - which means seamless, real-time control of, and data from, the system using the extremely intuitive Tesla app. Because of the efficiency of the panels and the battery storage capacity, we haven't used any grid-supplied electricity since the system was commissioned.

Everyone involved from UCS was a pleasure to deal with - the project management and office staff, scaffolders, panel installers, electricians, all were great and I would happily engage all of them on any future renewables project.

The system has been online for almost a fortnight and is performing even better than I'd hoped. Thanks to UCS for being easy to work with and delivering high quality work. After this excellent experience, I wholeheartedly recommend UCS for your renewable energy needs.

Did the job on time with minimal disruption

All the staff dealt with are very helpful and professional-the price was extremely good-the electricians and panel fitters were fast, efficient, tidy and helpful. I could not have wished for a better company to deal with.

UCS just completed the installation of a storage battery and solar panels at our home. They've been great to deal with through the whole process, giving good advice, and keeping us informed through the whole process - Alistair was a wonderful project manager, and the electricians, Stephen and Jack were a pleasure to deal with - highly professional, and working quickly and neatly.
