Terrible
Terrible. I bought a basic finance course, but every time I logged in my account showed zero purchases. I did get a response when I found an email address that worked, but they just said I needed to email the course instructor directly. After multiple attempts to contact her with no reply, I attempted to get a refund and was simply told that I can't have one.
cant login cause these fkkers changed the process
cant login cause these mfkers decided to change my password for a 6 digit code, after u put your email into the field, normally u go to a second screen where u put in a password, they decided to change that into a 6 digit number that they mail to you, but it never arrives!!
Fck this scam,
pretty good after all i hade fun
Udemy has the one of the worst customer…
Udemy has the one of the worst customer support. It is inherently unfair for the consumers to go through multiple hurdles to get help. It takes two clicks to buy on Udemy, yet the help process is highly cumbersome. An average help ticket 5 hours and 3 emails. If they can uplift their customer support and tech stack, it will help their online experience.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I purchased two courses with the expectation of being able to sit for an examination with a third-party certification body to obtain my certifications. The instructor later received notification from the certification body that she could no longer provide students with access to write the exam.
As a result, the original premise of both courses was no longer valid. I contacted customer service and received a refund for one course, but they refused to refund the second, stating that the first refund was an “exception.” Since the same issue applies to both courses, it would only make sense to apply the same policy to both.
I am very disappointed. This is my last time dealing with them. For context, I have purchased 144 courses through their platform, and they’ve now lost a long-term customer over $40. That’s quite unfortunate.
SCAM
SCAM! Courses and lecturers are great. Udemy however absolute scums. UI designers/engineers 100% know this is a scamming act. When refunding a course not suited for you, you click "Request a refund". IT AUTO CHECKS UDEMY CREDIT. THE RETURN TO ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD IS ACCESSED BY DROP DOWN ARROW. ONLY THEN YOU CAN CLICK BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD. DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT FALL FOR THAT. SHIT UI DESIGN AND SCUMMY BUSINESS MORALS. They truly do not care about you as a student in education. They are sly thieves just to get every penny out of you. Heartless scum bags. Their service has nothing to do with the quality of teaching lecturers provide. Lecturers are great, Udemy on the other had are NOT there to support you.
Customer service deplorable
Customer service deplorable. They hide behind AI bot called Alex to avoid giving refunds. You end up going round in circles. Monthly selection of subscription courses offered was poor vaule. Only got to find out after I paid the subscription . I did managed to find two paid courses I like which was not on the monthly subscription. If you have any issues, your only hope is that the AI bot Alex will eventually improve.
Terrible experience with customer…
Terrible experience with customer support. Not only they didn't care to send a real person when I requested to talk to someone bit they sent over and over the same copy paste email back, literally and at some point they made a mistake and sent me someone else's emails which is a breach of GDPR. Totally atrocious!!Zero help and ZERO CARE OR SUPPORT.
I really like Udemy and their courses
I really like Udemy and their courses. I am uploading one myself. But why not give course creators the chance to choose to create between video and text courses. Many customers don't have a lot of data to watch videos. I remember what I study when I read the text, because many courses have to little text in the videos and then it doesn't feel like a course you learn, I would know, because I have completed many courses. This is an idea Udemy can think about. Give course creators more options on how they can create courses. I would like to prefer to create text courses with images. 99% of all the courses I completed are all video content, no text to really read, just in the videos. Please consider these options for the customers also. Thanks.
Terrible customer service. STAY AWAY!!!
Their customer service is just outright horrible. Waste of time, frustrating, and give false hope.
I submitted a request for a credit to be deposited to my account, and a support rep said they were transferring my request to another department.
Turns out that this person misspoke, wasted my time, and gave false hope since I was later told that this is not actually possible.
Udemy's courses are mediocre at best, and after this "support" experience, I will not be purchasing any more courses through this platform.
Terrible customer service. STAY AWAY!!!
I ordered a class and never received it…
I ordered a class and never received it even though it came out of my bank. I contacted service and said it was false even when I gave a screenshot of my bank history. I will never use this website again.
Almost all prices went up
I enrolled in this course expecting to…
I enrolled in this course expecting to learn about Electrical design in AutoCAD Electrical. The description focuses on low‑voltage distribution for beginners, but it wasn’t clear that the content would only cover building systems. After watching part of the course only 10 percent and trying to find a relevent part, I realized it didn’t include any HV design topics, which is what I needed.
When I tried to request a refund, Udemy didn’t allow it because I had already watched 11% the course while trying to find relevant sections. I understand the policy, but the course content didn’t match my expectations, so it wasn’t useful for my purpose. When I tried to request a refund, Udemy denied it even though I had watched only a small portion of the course. I’ve always trusted Udemy’s refund policy when buying courses, so this experience was disappointing.
I bought course and it is never appear…
I bought course and it is never appear in my app. After i trying to start other course and they just disappeared. There is no support or live chat. Waste of money. It looks like they now not support this project it is live just own live.
Tried to do a refund
I bought a course today and watched the intro, I immediately realized this is not the course I want to take and tried to apply for a refund. Little did I know it is not possible since i have watched too much of the course(INTRO) and then I tried to find a customer support to contact but it is impossible. Beware Udemy does not have a support, they lure their customers, and look at their reviews, I don't really have to say more.
REMEMBER THEY DO NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SUPPORT THESE JOKERS.
They sell outdated courses where u are…
They sell outdated courses where u are supposed to complete task which are no longer possible since its was simply outdated. I understand sometimes you have to explore by yourself, but my experience for extremely bad. It's an development course that requires 0 coding skills, yet I couldn't proceed with my 2 years of experience... What makes Udemy unlawful is that I get no refund for a bought scam. Now I understand why they score only 1.8 on trust pilot.
Support is impossible to reach
Support is impossible to reach, so when I bought a course that is completely irrelevant for the subject there is NO way of getting a refund and letting them know that the quality is too low.
If their system dont think I am eligible for a refund there is apparently no reason to get in touch with them, for any reason.
This is extremely unprofessional.
Refund Policy is terrible
There a some goof courses on Udemy. However a lot more courses are outdated or not what they promised. If you watched some 45 min of a 15h course, to figure out: You cant get a refund anymore.
Udemy has one of the worst customer support
Udemy has one of the worst customer support experiences I’ve ever dealt with. Their refund policy feels more like a punishment than a customer-friendly policy.
I missed my annual subscription renewal by just a couple of hours, and they completely refused to refund me. I didn’t buy any courses after the renewal, and I barely even used the subscription during the entire previous year. Still, no flexibility, no understanding, no real support, just copy-paste replies.
