Order placed 10th July for oak decking boards and softwood sleepers. I am still waiting on the decking 6 weeks later, with next to no communication from the company unless I phone them, in which case the product is promised to arrive in the next few days. I have received seven (yes SEVEN) delivery emails stating delivery will be made within four days, with only one of these resulting in the sleepers being delivered (and no mention of the decking). I spoke to Kelvin last week and it was promised the boards were now being freshly sawn and kiln dried to fulfil the order, and to be delivered today...or not! Again, no communication and it's pretty useless contacting them as apparently it is all down to 'transport' and it sounds like the team you can speak to have little input. I am shocked at how poor the effort of commucation is from this company.

I wish I read these reviews before using UK Oak. I ordered some small pieces for a oak door repair and the wood was warped. 650mm length and even this small piece was bent! They must be selling off-cuts and leaving them outside. I got them on the phone and they said tough luck, but they could plane it for an additional fee. Pretty poor to say the least.

They will take the money and then ignore you completely for four weeks.

Avoid this company. Its advertised phone number seems to be inactive, the email seems to only accept emails on certain days. Communication was almost impossible.
I paid for a pallet of oak logs and got what are bark chips and waste wood rubbish which were delivered with no warning. They finally replaced these but arrived without a pallet truck, so the new delivery was dumped in the middle of my drive so I could not use it to park a car. They were not helpful or friendly. The one exception to this was the second delivery driver who was helpful but could do nothing to reposition the delivery

Bought solid oak flooring that was made to order. Could not be any happier.

Terrible company, steer clear. Placed over £1500 for Oak flooring. Ordered 17m2. Came mostly in small pieces, so pretty useless for flooring. Suspect they sell offcuts from other jobs, completely unsuited to flooring. Phoned them up, no help at all. Lesson learned, will not touch with a bargepole in future. My advice: Avoid at all costs.

Visited UK Oak today in Corby and excellent service all round. The girl on reception was extremely helpful and helped me pick out a length of Oak Waney board.
I will definitely be returning in the near future to pick up other Oak products as it's a very impressive set up they have out there!

Wanted to place a number of fairly large order for Oak materials - However they do not answer the telephone, they do not respond to emails and even if you do eventually manage to contact them via their 'online chat' service they disconnect !?
Thankfully I did not place any orders on their website.

Company from hell, never answer phone, never email, they have lied to me multiple times they still have my money and so far have cost me over £15000!.
I have lost face with my best customer.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN LAUGH AT YOU!!

Don't use this company if you don't want to be messed around! Phoned the order in & paid in full. Didn't hear anything from them for almost three weeks so contacted them and was given a delivery day straightaway then they sent an email within 24hrs of phone call to say they hadn't got the timber and it would be about another three weeks. Needless to say have cancelled order. Not the sort of company I want to do business with.

Spent £2300 on decking boards and components, order was placed on the 27th April 2016, it is now the 10th May and I have had no communication or confirmation of a delivery date yet. I sent an email requesting confirmation of a delivery two working days ago and have not received a response. If I don't hear anything soon I will be making a claim for my money back on my credit card. Shocking service. Avoid.
