0 STARS. TOTAL SCAM. THEY SAY 2.99 THROUGHOUT THE PAYMENT PROCESS.THEN YOU GET CHARGED AND EXTRA £27. AND IN THE T&CS IT STATES THEY CHARGE YOU MONTHLY £50. NONE OF THIS IS MADE CLEAR AT THE CHECKOUT STAGE. SURELY THIS IS ILLEGAL. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE A 0 STARS RATING.

Spent a fair bit of time completing this test. Only to be asked for a payment of 2.99 to reveal your score. This could have been made clear at the start. And from reviews I can it is a bs scam

If there was a no star i would have given that it is a scam they say the one off is just £2.99 but really charge you £27 do not use this site.

FRAUDULENT SERVICE DO NOT USE.

THEY ADVERTISE THEIR PRICING AS £2.99 BUT HIDE ADDITIONAL CHARGES IN THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU £29.99 AND ON TOP OF THAT £70 PER MONTH FOR A SERVICE THAT YOU DIDN'T EVEN SIGN UP FOR.

I took the test in January for 2.99. And foolishly gave my credit card #. Since then I have been charged monthly for total almost $600 cdn. I have no idea for what product, received nothing.Paid my credit card bills without checking charges until now. Unbelievable! Yeah, I know I am a trusting dummy. I have tried to get help through my credit card company, but apparently I didn’t read the tiny little print someplace. But they are still charging and I can’t unsubscribe because there is a pop up over top the unsubscribe button. Hard way to learn a lesson but I will not use a credit card online for anything anymore. PayPal only, but can they be trusted?

Paid £2.99 for a one-off IQ test result. Or so I thought...

It says at payment “After clicking ‘Show my result’ you will be charged for the discounted price of your IQ certificate and an additional amount for 7 days PREMIUM access. The total charged price for IQ certificate & PREMIUM access will be £2.99.”

So despite stating a charge of £2.99 will be applied, aheademy go ahead and charge £27 for a 7 day “trial period” and then £79.99 a month thereafter if you don’t cancel.

This whole process is extremely shady and will catch many people out, DO NOT PURCHASE

The IQ test is good - costs £2.99
Make sure to read the small print though!

If your 'free trial' isn't cancelled after that 7 day period you will start a monthly direct debit of £79.99

I just ordered a £2.99 "Certificate" and as a bonus I received a bill £29.99...
It was not clear at the time of the purchase that a costly subscription would be added automatically.
The phone helpline for the site is completely useless, as it send you to another email support line (testific.com). When I called that line it sends you back to aheademy.com. And it becomes a closed circle with no anyone to answer any questions.
I also e-mailed them 4 times (the same text) and waiting for my bank to see if they could block any future transactions from them. In the meantime I have unsubscribed, of course...and hope this is really registered on the site, so no more money will be stolen from my account.
Don't use this site, they are scammers!

hi to all you guys . I have the same problem but as soon as i saw they charged me 29.99 i went on their website and scrolled down until i saw their button "unsubscribe" and it said you unsubscribed . After this i read their terms of service and it said this "When you purchase a PNG Service from us for the first time, your payment card will be automatically charged with the regular price of $ 27 for one week of Premium Access, however please be noted that the Premium Access charges will not be finally withdrawn from your account unless you continue to use our Premium Access Services after the end of the seven day term" i hope this is true and doesnt charge me anything and puts my money back. Good luck to you all

I used it for a cheap test and got direct debits taken for £80 for two months. I complained they refunded one month only and ignored my request and emails when i asked if they could refund the two months. A complete disgrace!

DO NOT USE THIS SITE FOR TESTS. Instead of £2.99 they took £29.99 and then they took £50 on a later date. READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE BUYING.
They scam customers by hiding payments in terms and conditions.

It' s a scam. You pay for nothing.

They make me lost my time making me a LONG test and then saying me to pay. And the website is fake, the Facebook comments are fake and probably is a scam

I did a 1 off IQ test, paid £5.99. I did not subscribe to anything- no confirmation email to say I did. £79 comes out of my account on the 1st of april and a further £79 out of my account on the 30th of April. I tried to log onto my ‘subscription’ but I said ‘credentials not recognised’. Indicating I didn’t have an account as I use the same email and password for everything. I clicked the ‘forgot password?’ For then to be able to log on and unsubscribed to something I DID NOT SUBSCRIBE TO! These are nothing but frauds. DO NOT USE

Scam! Took money out my account without telling me. DONT USE THIS SERVICE. I am in the process of requesting a full refund.

Stole 40 buck's CAD from me. SCAM DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!

They immediately took £29.99 out of my account, despite me signing up for £2.99. Fraud. Steer clear!

Please avoid this company it’s a scam!
I just wanted to pay for my certificate which was 2.99£ and they took 29.99£ from my account!
If you don’t unsubscribe from they page they will charge you even more 79.99£ each month!
