We had the mystery bag for girls
We had the mystery bag for girls. Customer services were good about replacing an item that had a hole. However the replacement item has a zip which has now broken within two weeks. Disappointing quality.

Good quality but lacking transparency
I was very pleased with the products I ordered in term of them matching the product descriptions and in terms of the quality. I thought I was getting a good deal as I bought 4 sale items and qualified for free shipping. I was disappointed to receive an email a few days after ordering stating that I had to pay almost half the value of my order on customs charges before my order would be delivered. (The order was being delivered to Ireland and the customs charges were obviously calculated as a percentage of full price not the sale price).
Having purchased from several UK sites in the recent past, since brexit, I know many companies absorb the customs charge and do not pass it on to customers. If they chose not do so as in this case, and there are additional charges to be paid, that is usually made very clear at the time of purchase. (The amount of reviews with the same feedback suggests that whatever or wherever Hype has noted this on their website, it is not adequate) I feel like Hype should be more transparent with Irish/international customers about any additional charges so they can make better informed purchasing decisions.
At the very least, they should process the customs paperwork correctly and note the transaction value and not the RRP of the items which is causing people to be overcharged on customs. I won’t be purchasing directly from the hype website again.

EU taxes
Unfortunately, we had to pay import and processing fees for each bag equal to 50% of the cost of the items. They were ordered together but shipped separately which led to being charge twice for handling fee 15 euros x 2 on top of import tax - so each bag had an additional charge of 35 euros on top of the original cost. The company should follow other UK companies to be transparent about fees upfront and make proper arrangements for shipping to EU or stop offering it.

Hooded top
To cut quite a long story short, my son bought me a hoodie top from your company. It was far too big, I wanted to return the top for an exchange without involving my son. This process proved to be very complicated as all the information was in my sons details, ie email address and postcode. Therefore I found it very difficult to process the return myself. I contacted your customer services and a very helpful lady called JO has guided me through the whole process. She has been extremely helpful and very kindly sorted everything for me and changed the shipping address to my own. I am so grateful to Jo for her expert help and assistance. She is a credit to your company.
