I joined Marketforce a couple of years back and, due to health issues, had only done a few jobs for them. I, recently, now my health has improved somewhat, was hoping to startdoing more jobs with them. I do enjoy it, though the reports are very long winded in comparison to what you actually get for doing the jobs.

However, I have now not been paid for the first two jobs I have done for the recently. Despite messaging them for 2 days again now I haven't even been replied too.

I won't be doing any work for them again after this and will stick to other companies for this kind of work.

Worked for marketforce for a number of years now and they are just not very good anymore, the pay is nothing most of the time and the reports can be lengthy. I won't work for nothing and I think they forget we have to travel to and from these places as well as sit and fill in reports most of these assignments the company get a great sum of money per assignment and they don't pass that on the the people who do all the work. There are no rights and no fair pay. If no one does the assignments then they will need to start paying people more !!!!!!

I have been a shopper for a while with high ratings on my record. However, I am no longer seeing assignments when new users are being offered them, in my defined area too. I would not recommend this company pay is poor and they obviously favour new users over loyal ones.

Great company. Been with them for many years. Clear instructions, great contact, prompt payment. Easy to navigate shopper site. Best mystery shopping company to work with.

I have worked for Marketforce for many years. I complete my assignments and file my reports on time. Unfortunately, they feel no obligation to pay on time. There is no phone number to call for payment issues, only an email account, to which they take their time about answering.

They call me constantly, even though I have repeatedly asked not to be assigned fast food shops more than once a week. I am evidently a prompt and dependable shopper as the number of calls I have received lately borders on harassment. I am still waiting for a reply to my email regarding their failure to pay me for my December shops. I will be reporting this on every single review site I can find, and if I can figure out how, I will delete my account. Better Business Bureau, here I come.

I started doing assignments with MF around 4 years ago. Initially it was quite good as there was plenty of choice, the pay was ok and budgets for the assignments were reasonable which were certainly enough to cover your purchase. It was a good way of sustaining my meals/ drinks whilst on the road/ at work (so although the pay wasn't massive we were both doing each other a favour) - the only catch was I had to fill out lengthy surveys and take notes etc - but this got easier with time and repetition. But then almost overnight around 2-3 yeare ago the bulk of assignments dried up yet despite being open to other members on there (I introduced people I know to MF who had more assignments to choose from) and there was no explanations to why my accounts' choice range had been restricted. I carried on doing them here and there where convenient and beneficial for me. But there is very little to nothing on there now apart from the occasional trip to a chicken shop which doesn't pay a fee or cover the purchase expenses. There is an endless stream of low paying convoluted assignments to dangerous betting shops in rough areas! Which just do not interest me in the slightest let alone working for small change. I know other people who have joined MF and they have slighlty more assignment options - but none of these pay the reviewers fee anymore nor cover all their expenses. Gone downhill and this was a good few years before the pandemic. It was good while it lasted I guess and I'll probably delete my account soon (once I figure out how) as I can't see it being any better post-covid backed with other reviews I've seen here. I guess it was a case of watering down so much that it is no longer worth it.

Recently signed up a pretty good experience so far

This Marketforce company has been brilliant! Iv been with them from the start and they have evolved massively over the years. You pick up a job, flexible to your area, whenever it suits you, you complete the job, easy notes to understand, very straighforward and complete the report (can be lengthy sometimes!)...you then get paid on time. Only downside, you can't contact them out of hours and reports can be lengthy...booo!. The best mystery shopper company out there and I would recommend this company to anyone.

I am not sure what has happened since lockdown small or no fees for assignments. For example Five Guys assignments where the reimbursement is £11 however for minimum purchase of small burger or hotdogs is £12 and no fee it doesnt make sense. These jobs with proper fees were snapped up now stay on the list.

I've noticed a few people have now posted about no fees and greed, me included and all you get back is blah blah blah biah... A cut and paste reply, the same for ever one. Why don't you just answer the question as to why you are expecting people to work for free.. Why should people put the effort in when there is no return.. You were always shocking payers but now is just shocking..

They haven't got a clue about what they doing.

I've asked them a simple question before conducting my assignment however the person I have dealt with simply has no knowledge of whats going on and doesn't even know the project he is running

I've been with marketforce for 6 six years. They never paid very well but post covid their raw absolute greed has got the better of them. Fees have now dropped to to zero, yes zero, you just get back what you spent for them! This often entails the risks inherent in visiting locations like pubs and associated travel. As a business it appears they have no shame.

Do not work for this company!! You will not get paid!!

I completed 3 assignments for this company and received the highest grading for each of the reposts I submitted. Yet, I was not paid on the specified payment dates. I am still waiting for payment over 1 month later.

Despite many, many emails to the team (including Dee Willis and Joanne Goldsmith, amongst others), I am still no closer to receiving payment.

Do not work for this company, it is a complete scam!

Never had any problems as some of the reviews on here. Pay has been on time, Assignment notes are very clear and as long as they are stuck to it is easy to fill out the report. Pay is a little on the low side but you get reimbursed for the activity so it is normally worth it.

Only problem I have ever had is trying to contact the company while on a deadline. They usually reply in 2 working days, however this is not always ideal, when the deadline of a assignment is fast approaching.

Would highly recommend to all as a way to get a few bonus meals/activities and a small amount of money, especially students where it can work around your schedule.

I find working for Marketforce good on the whole. However, payments can be rather random - I received £6.50 for one local assignemnt and an identical assignment in another town, which I did as a favour when they rang me and begged, only paid £2.25. And took me a whole morning to get there and back.

TOOOO LONG. I understand the brief but some of the questions makes no sense.

No doubt I will recieve an automated reply from market force below this review, the same as everyone else. Yet when I email customer care or anyone else in the organisation I get no reply. I have been refused payment for jobs that I have completed, and completed well, because the assignment notes provided were completley misleading.This is obviously intentional and they are basically getting people to work for free. A completely shady organisation that I would highly recommend avoiding.

Been with marketforce for a month or so now and just had the first payout right on schedule with the information they give... I also find reimbursement and fees very good and the mileage they offer for some assignments are great.

Overall, great company to deal with with quick payouts.

I’ve been with Market Force for some years now. I used to carry out assignments for them with my mum and then when she got poorly I took over. In the last year I’ve started doing jobs for them again and find the system works well, you can filter out any jobs which aren’t suitable for you and then pick from the rest. There are very thorough notes on each assignment and you know when you will be paid (roughly every couple of weeks). If there are jobs in your area that needs to be done ASAP the company will sometimes email you to offer you them, often with an enhanced mileage reimbursement. I enjoy the assignments.
I have always found them very nice to deal with and not had any problems. Recommended

They tell you clearly upfront what the fees are. Clearly. They tell you, clearly, when you will be paid. Clearly. If you don't think the fees are fair you don't do the job. Anyone who bleats like a wet sock retrospectively looks a little daft to say the least. If you don't like the fees or the job you don't have to accept it.
