McAfee - we guarantee to screw up your computer !
I am awarding Mcafee one star. TrustPilot does not allow me to give zero stars nor negative numbers. If it did McAfee would score MINUS TEN.
When I purchased my laptop I made it very clear to PC World that I did not want the dreaded McAfee. Make a Google search to find out just how much this system is hated.
I was fobbed off by PC World's salesman and came away with a wretched free trial for the dreaded McAfee burred deep within my laptop's operating system. I did not activate the trial and I ignored all the damn pop ups inviting me to both do so and to part with money to buy software from McAfee.
I anticipated that when the free trial was over McAfee would crawl back into the hole from whence it came - OH NO. On a regular basis different popups interrupt my work here on my laptop trying to persuade me to throw money at McAfee's publishers. The only word to describe what McAfee is doing is Malware. Isn't this system supposed to protect a computer from Malware ? McAfee may or may not be effective as an ant-virus system but it has failed to protect my laptop from its own invasive Malware.
Mr McAfee which bit of GET STUFFED do you not understand ? I do not want your system ! STOP invading my laptop !
