Absolutely brilliant product easy to use and does a great job with little effort compared with a manual hoe. First time I used it it I did an area that cost me £50 previously by a professional gardener. I did the whole area in less than an hour and it looked better than the ever.
Love my ryobi hoe it’s excellent and saves me a lot of time and effort. Makes my jobs able to be done in half the time.
Really turns the soil over
The cordless hoe has become a very useful tool for this 90-year-old whose muscular strength has reduced over the years. Manual hoeing would not be possible any more!
We were sceptical that this would work as a garden tool but were very pleased at the ease of use and efficiency of it. Money well spent.
Excellent product. Certainly does the job even in hard clay soil.
Good on moist clay soil. Unsure whether it would work on hard dry clay soil. Probably highly effective on sandy soil. Vibrates quite a lot on hands and wrists.

This is a stunning piece of kit. Tough enough to get through the heaviest of soil and really does the job on the hardiest of weeds. The only reason I’ve given it 4 stars and not 5, is the cost.

Great tool
It does exactly what it says on tin but could have been much better if on off switch had been better designed. Easy enough to switch on but case makes it awkward to switch off especially in gardening gloves. As a future improvement a second slower speed would be good.
The hoe was easy to assemble and easy to use . A tool which has made weeding a lot easier on Essex clay
