Sensible choice because I have the batteries and several Ryobi products,which work exceptionally well and Chain saw no exception.

fantastic little chain saw
As advertised, easy to use.
This product is very easy to use, the safety mechanism is great. Performance is really good.
Lightweight and easy to use tool.I use it with a 4a hr battery and it gives plenty of running time.
Does what it says it does with no issues. I'd recommend a bigger battery than my 2ah

A good compact powerful lightweight saw
I’m not sure the tool free chain tensioning is that good compared to old hex key tensioning.
Brilliant little tool, don't have to pull the starter when you want to use it. Keep the petrol saw for the big cuts. Handy light and easy to adjust.
Only had this chain saw for a few weeks however it’s been great so far👍🏻.
Good, light weight chainsaw for small to medium jobs
Excellent tool highly recommended
Cuts really well very happy with that, But I have left sitting on top of my tool box and the oil has leaked out all over my box !!!! Not happy about that , I have used other chainsaws and that hasn’t happened before only on this Ryobi one ! Also where it’s leaked into my tool box it’s now ruined about £90 -£120 worth of my tools and cleaning buffers !! I cannot clean any cars with these now !!! Thanks Ryobi !!!

Bought it for cutting some railway sleepers ( The proper ones not the DIY pretend ones) Does the job very well ,and only using standard batteries. Only gripe is that the teeth for anchoring against what you cut are plastic instead of metal.
Does the job I need it to do.
Great quality tool for a competitive price, can cut very decently sized logs with ease. Perfect for small/ medium tree projects
Brilliant little chainsaw! I have a larger corded one but the cord is a real nuisance and it is no more powerful than this. I recently had 3 trees felled in my garden - ash die back and the chap left me some branches and one trunk to play with for wood turning etc. The trunk was 260mm diameter and this saw went through it in about 15 seconds.
