This true pruner is brilliant. Used to use hand loppers that you had to open out such long way and was hard to place a branch in between the blades. With this Ryobi tree pruner, it is so much easier to get in between the branches and get to the one you want to cut. I used to have to use a ladder to get to the high branches but with this tool, i can stand on the ground and still get to the branches i want due to the length of this tool. I will never have to struggle again. I also like that you can use any of the One+ batteries with it.

This is a great tool and I use it in conjunction with Ryobi secateurs. Users need to be aware that if you try to cut too large an item it can jam. It can be unjammed but better not to do so in the first place.

The extra reach is nice but its the ability to "lop" without the need for the space to wield the handles that is the real game changer - it give a huge amount of flexibility of use. The tool is well balanced so although a little heavy it's not a problem and the cuts are clean.

Another great tool, really helps me in the garden as I struggle sometimes as my hands are getting weaker. The battery lasts for ages, I get loads of cuts. It’s pretty powerful, if it can go round it, it will cut it with ease. Nice long handle so it can reach higher branches
