Worked perfectly. Usual quality from Ryobi, ie. well built easy to use, good delivery. Coupled with the Ryobi secateurs pruning is quick and takes away the wrist/finger strain of manual equipment. Consider adding a Ryobi 30cm chainsaw, which will complete most tasks in garden pruning - it did for me.

This is an awesome little trimmer i use it for cutting postage tubes into lengths it saves s hell of a lot of hard work with the hacksaw

It’s good but the metal gripper can come off a little too easily. The instructions are mostly generic and the pictures a bit hard to discern. Didn’t show what the two sprung tabs on the top are for - in fact they release the gripper. It can be hard to saw thin branches even with the gripper as they vibrate with the saw. Manipulating it up a tree with one hand needs practice!

I've only just bought the Pruning Saw as part of a 'Start Up' package so it's difficult assess it's qualities. I have used it a couple of time on limbs that are getting near it's max. diameter and it was difficult to control struggled to cut. I also found the safety catch difficult to release whilst holding the saw and controlling the startup. Maybe I should have chosen the little chainsaw instead!
