I ordered this heat gun to strip the paint off my stairs. I have a few of the Ryobi battery tool range, and have always been happy. Then I got this one. It started with the delivery. The box was torn and busted. How every thing stayed in what was left of the box was a mystery. Then I used the gun. Totaly useless, does not get hot enough to melt the paint. So sent it right back. That was so easy. They collected it and I had the money refunded within the week. It was well made and was nice and light, just not fit for the intended use for me. Proberly better for frozen pipes and warming plastic, not for stripping paint.

I have used hot air guns in my profession Thought I would get a cordless one Save pluging cable in ect The heat the gun produces is very low Compared the the plug in guns A bit disappointed about the gun heat but if you hold it on long enough it will do the one job Then the battery runs out 4 amp I got 15 mins max you get
