Very useful for seniors with aging eye sight. Up close vision is the issue for me and I find it frustrating to keep taking spectacles on and off when doing something in close detail. Portable with two light levels. Look through the magnifier and see close up in detail and away to see the rest of the room. Bravo. Took a splinter out of my daughters finger yesterday, very useful.

As I have not received the item after 3 weeks I am only giving you one start because you must know I have not received the item yet because Ryobi and evri cannot get your act together. i Have sent about 9 emails to Ryobi about the failed delivery but NONE of these emails have been acknowledged or answered by Ryobi which tells me a lot about your customer service. I have used various desk lamps with limited success. Either to bulky to leave much room desk or either to bright or not bright enough to illuminate the area needed which is in a dull part of the room. This Ryobi Magnifying light has filled that gap. It is fairly streamlined, so takes up a lot less room on the desk when freestanding, and even less when using the clamp. The dual switch light illuminates the area precisely as I need it, and the combination of magnifying glass and light is a godsend when model making. In all the best mobile indoor light I have ever purchased, and the battery useage is pretty good to.
