I have written to Ryobi to raise the issue that it cannot even cut a piece of wood - have not heard back. Once the blade is pushed against the object you want to cut the blade just stops moving

Being wanting one of these for a long time. As a DIYer you're not going need it too often but very useful when you do. Can make use of the battery on other tools in the meantime

I normally use a Feinn corded multi tool and only got this for when there were no sockets but I now find it more convenient to use the Ryobi cordless tool most of the time as it does the job just as well.
