Used to collect water from a well, pump works as advertised, very pleased with my purchase. I did have to use a pre-formed hose for the pumped hose rather than a flat hose that I tried first.

I've installed the pump into a chamber sunken below soil level in a low point in the garden (the lid to the chamber has perforations to allow rainwater which ponds in the garden to enter the chamber) which is coupled up to a buried discharge pipe disposing surface water several meters away into a surface water drain. When ponding occurs (it can be quite considerable following prolonged heavy rain over a large area of the garden and adjoining driveway) i determine how long to have the auto shut off setting and then leave the pump to do its business- PERFECT!
