Instructions for use were sparse. I had seen an on line video that had instructions in it. It worked well, I had to drain an underground water tank, it wasn't bothered by some sediment. Make sure you don't have a one way hose connector on the outlet pipe.
Just right for occasional need for pumping up to garden water tank
I have a boat and it was extremely effective as a secondary temporary bilge pump. Temporary only because according to the manual and instructions it cannot be left unattended or used in confined spaces for extended standard lengths of time. So my advice would be if you are going to use it for such a purpose it is not a replacement it is a temporary and the emergency measure only
It’s great. Will be useful in our allotment when we get round to repositioning the water butts which a full. Fast delivery and no wastage in packaging. Next tool on my list is the mini tiller.

Does the job I wanted it to do pumping out a fish pond and tank with ease.
Worked really well for what I needed so worthwhile addition to the range of compatable tools
Bought for use in garden pond. Does the job great, the pump is light and easy to use. The only downside is the inlet hose. It is far too rigid. It is impossible to straighten it , it acts like a coiled spring so I had to keep one hand on the pump to stop it pinging into the pond. I swapped it for a short length of old garden hose which does the job perfectly.
It's a good pump considering it's battery operated very pleased with it's performance and take anywhere to use
Great products, terrible design! Metal screws into plastic threads do not last long.

Pump struggles a bit to prime but once up and running it’s good. The hose comes rolled up and is very difficult to get straight and with a plastic strainer can be a challenge to get to stay under the water. Good value for money due to not having to buy separate batteries and just use the ones you have from 18volt one +
Quite surprised at how powerful pump is. The inlet hose is very stiff, difficult to position without it wanting to spring back. I will replace it with a softer hose. Very noisy, would not like to use it in an enclosed space for too long. These are small faults, but, overall I am very pleased with my purchase. A++++++++++++++
First class pump highly recommended
I have used this pump on 5 occasions in the relatively short time I have had it and it has performed perfectly each time. Time will tell how long the rotor vanes will last, having to lubricate them before and after each use is a little annoying especially as there are high performance polymers available for applications like this.
I ordered a pump from Ryobi UK. They sent me a fan. After 2 weeks of repeated phone calls and emails they acknowledged this and collected the fan. I have now entered a 3rd week of repeated phone calls and emails with no pump. They are now simply not responding. They still have my £119. I have no pump. I have spent hours and hours trying to persuade them to rectify their mistake. I have no idea what to do next. Maybe small claims court?? Last time I was asked for a review ( yes, they asked me for this review!!) They replied telling me to call their helpline. I am very, very knowledgeable about how their "helpline" works. Seriously Ryobi UK, your service is shameful.
