It really struggles to get through sandstone slabs without stopping/cutting out. I used my ryobi angle grinder which found it much easier. Also the base plate has a really random bend in it at the guideline - which i find extremely unhelpful.

the tile disk supplied does not fit the centre drive shaft is to big for the centre hole on the disc! only found out when I started the job to try and get hold of someone in Ryobi is like Dinnasar teeth ....not happy!

Purchased to cut 30mm silestone quartz this tool cut it with ease. a compact well designed tool using a 9ah battery we made a total of 2.4 linear metre cut only using two bars of battery power great value for money

Overall, I really like the tool and it did a great job, however I was using it on 900 x 600mm x 20mm thickness porcelain paving and I found that it was eating through batteries at an incredible rate. I spent a lot of time waiting for my 3 batteries to re-charge. Perhaps I was working the blades too hard before changing to a new, sharp one. Also, the baseplate was rusting after the first use due to the water cooling, so learned to clean and dry that after each use and wipe over with WD40 to protect between uses. I like the tool and it will no doubt do a great job for me in the future on lighter jobs, but if I were doing a paving project again with porcelain, I'd want a corded powered saw, not a battery one.

I bought this while it was on special offer so got it at a good price, but now I have used it and its really good at doing accurate and clean cuts. I used it to cut a porcelain tile that was already stuck to the wall but needed "shaving" down by a few millimeters. The guide bar worked well and the cutter was easy to handle considering I was cutting vertically up the wall! The HP was powerful enough for me not to worry that the blade might stop which it didnt. All in all a great piece of kit to add to the collection. Thanks Ryobi!

Great Tile Saw for doing projects. I had the option to choose from two different models and choose this one as it was in the sale and also can cut wider thicknesses of materials.

Built well, seems robust but literally zero secondary safety devices which seems pretty dangerous - accidentally knock the trigger that blade is firing up. The button where traditionally the secondary safety switch is locks on the trigger for easier removal of fingers. Joking aside it does seem pretty decent and well made - overall happy with it
