All my Ryobi tools came with 2.5amp batteries originally. So when an old type (non lithium) battery died, it seemed the sensible thing to do. Very happy I took the opportunity.

This battery is a lot easier to remove from the lawn mower and strimmer than the one that came with the aforementioned items.

This is a really good mid-range battery when you need light weight but medium battery life to work with. Far better than the 1 or 1.5Ah batteries and much easier to carry all day than the 5Ah ones especially when using a tool belt on site for example.
