Great tool. Easy to use and provides accurate measurements both indoors and out. It has become a favourite tool to use on a wide range of projects. The only down side so far is that the battery cover is difficult to remove and needs a screw driver or knife to remove, which has damaged the cover. Therefore the latching mechanism is too stiff. A quick fix for the designers.

up to usual standard for ryobi, after going through the instruction & a play/fiddle i managed to work out how to use it. due to illness it will greatly help me in my diy as i find it a challange to use a tape over anything longer than 3M.

Lightly dropped this item and took a lot to get it going again, seemed a bit flimsy, Accuracy can be a bit hit & miss until you get use to it, not too bad a buy

Instructions on how to use it are a bit lacking. It's clearly able to store readings, and even add up multiple readings, but there aren't instructions on how to achieve it, hence only 4 stars.
