Ryobi's discounts allowed me to pick this up cheaper than usual. The 6Ah charger for a 5Ah battery mean I'm fully recharging in under an hour. You can't argue with that.

I have had Ryobi 36v batteries for quite a while now - 4&8 AH with a 1.7A charger. The charging time @ 1.7A was painful. So when the 6A charger was under offer I bought one, though I would have preferred the 10A version. The 6A charger charges my batteries reasonably quickly and the quality of the charger is good. My only bugbear is the price - the batteries themselves are expensive enough but I don't see why the chargers should carry such a high price !!.

This fast charger really is fast. Being 6A charger it does have a fan but this is very quiet. It charger our 5Ah battery very quickly and lets us get back to work with minimum delay.

It took a while getting to me, but all good and keeps the charge.

I bought this after my original slow charger stopped working. It charges my 5 AH battery a lot faster than the original charger. It has a fan that is pretty quiet and helps keep the charger cool. My only concern is that Ryobi trust Evri with shipping their products. Our Evri driver specialises in airmail deliveries throwing parcels straight at our door. As the charger was just in its display box I'm amazed it worked at all.
