I've only used my Ryobi 36V Brushless 65cm Hedge Trimmer on a couple of small jobs so far but am already very impressed with it's performance and build quality. I think I might invest in one of the shorter bar lengths for those jobs where reach is not an issue.
Poor with terrible customer service.

Quite powerful for a cordless. A bit heavy but well balanced with the battery attached. IMPORTANT POINT It uses a a different battery which I didn’t realise.
light enough and perfect for trimming hedges
Despite only using twice keeps cutting out like as bad connection and cannot get contact with customer service by telephone and they have not responded to email.

Just what is needed for a big long hedge.
You have still not delivered the product 4 weeks after I paid for it. You have not provided a reasonable explanation why you have failed to deliver. You don't care about customer service. Your follow up mechanisms are designed to avoid dealing with problems. Communication is dreadful. This has been an utterly miserable shopping experience. You got one star because less than one is not an option.

Lightweight and easy to use.
Have used it just once on my large long hedges. Cuts well and battery never ran out. Problem was I ran out of steam. This is big and becomes heavy to use if you are needing to do a lot of trimming. Great workout for the biceps. I am getting on a bit I suppose! Liked the fact the handle could be swiveled and locked to 45 degrees and 90 degrees. However when you did use this feature the trigger switching it on needed to be squeezed tight to operate which again gets tiring. So I will have to save up for a pole Trimmer to go with this machine as I suspect doing the top of my hedges while on a ladder is going to kill me! This seems a well built quality Trimmer and not having to drag my extension leads and avoid cutting through the cable is wonderful.
