Easy to assemble and well designed to prevent you shredding your fingers etc. Battery(6A) lasts a few afternoon processing sessions so no probs there. The rotating drum breaks up woody material and helps pull through the smaller bits, you soon work it out so the shredding process is efficient. Setting up the tool properly prevents the longer things making removal of the plastic tray which collects the awkward. Again, you get the hang of this. An ideal shredder if you do not electricity, its well built and up to the job.

Excellent except one thing. Ryobi fell short and did not supply all the wing nuts. I simply asked for one only to be told that they didn't have any. They said I should send the original machine in and they would send a replacement. That is a rediculous inefficient process for 1 wing nut! Happy about the product, but unhappy with your lack of efficiency.

The shredder is an amazing tool if you need to get to remote parts of your garden. With a 5 Ah battery it lasts a long time. It is very powerful and quiet. It is much better than the corded version if a bit more expensive. One suggestion for improvement would be to make the container clear so that you can see what is happening as the chips come out.

This product is deficient in two areas: 1) The mechanism to fold the frame for lower profile storage does not work. I had to disassemble the frame to get assemble yje product 2) The product itself does not actually perform the function it sold for. I tried a range kf branch thicknesses. The device simply sucks them in and chews them up slightly. It does not chip or shred. As such it its TOTALLY USELESS and for over £500 this is a total and utter disgrace. This was clearly never tested at all. AVOID THIS PRODUCT. I am going to get a refund , that’s for darn sure.

Very impressive: ability to chomp through both green and dry wood with ease really encourages me to find more to shove through it. Battery life is very good; 2 binfulls barely used 20% of capacity (1 bar on the display)
