I was always under the impression that Ryobi had built its popularity with the one tool one battery. I was annoyed and disappointed when I bought my saw and extension pole and found my batteries wouldn’t fit. !!! So I was forced to buy a battery and charger, I bit unfair wouldn’t you agree. I have a sander , car buff, leaf blower , hedge trimmer . And now the saw. It wasn’t made obvious that I would need a different battery and charger.

I use it to finish off a job if my 5v battery dies. It is perfect for this and its quick recharge time means you're always ready to go.

It is a reliable battery but sold with the current scam of bring overpriced to allow frequent special offers. Why not price it competitively so that buyers can buy when needed instead of waiting for an offer.
